Halloween Party Ideas

Big Halloween Party Ideas?!?

It would help to know the age range of your guests...

Costume contests are always good - back "in the day", we would take Polariod shots of everyone as they came in and tack it on a bulletin board so people could vote as the night went on...

Are you going to have it on Halloween when trick or treaters may be coming around? If so, why not set up a haunted house in the garage/front yard and enlist your guests to help be ghouls and goblins scaring the trick or treaters (and handing out candy)?

Inviting a fortune teller (or getting a friend who reads Tarot cards or whatever) is fun - set the person up in a room to themselves with candlelight and let the "customers" go in one at a time.

Have a big screen TV? If not, rent one for the evening (one of those blow up screens with a projector is good if your weather is nice and you have room out of doors) and show a "midnight horror feature" - serve popcorn and so forth, just like the movie theater.

Get a 6 or 8 foot long rectangular table and make it look like a table in the morgue (Google images for ideas of how it should look)...lay out a plastic skeleton (or a paper one) on top of the table and then your "treats" accordingly (brains by the skull, etc. Look at your local party store or Halloween superstore for molds, or improvise. Don't forget to to glance around thrift stores too - they put out a lot of neat stuff for holidays!).

I hate to admit it, but Martha Stewart always has great Halloween ideas in her October Living magazine.

Come to think of it, invite Martha - I can't think of anyone scarier, and that's without a costume!!!

Halloween party ideas?

No, youre not too old to make a halloween party. Even people in their 30's and 40's like dressing up for this kinds of parties.
Just the costumes are going to be changing, maybe a little more sexier instead of darker etc.

And I think thats a great idea. Try to have a contest of the best costume and give some kind of gift/reward afterwards. Have a lot of fun, youre still very young to worry. ;)

What are some fun Halloween party ideas for teenagers?

Depends on the type of party and specific age group.Generally, I would go for classic scary Halloween. Even if it isn't that scary. Fake cobwebs, spider stuff, witches, etc.The classics are my best suggestions. But I would ask to see if they have other ideas. Ex. gaming party~I wouldn't worry as much about decoration but more about setup.Good luck!
