Has Anybody Used Hawaiian Air For International Travel

I'm traveling with Hawaiian Airlines on Sunday and I have some questions, can anyone help?

Both items can go on the plane. You will have to check in your suitcase, but this is done when you go to check in at the airport. It'll go in the fuselage of the plane and you'll be reunited with it at your destination.

If your suitcase is small and under a certain weight (They normally have little boxes that'll be the size limits) you may be able to take it on as hand luggage but then you have to avoid taking certain things on so it'd be easier to put it as check in.

For your hand luggage, any liquid over 100ml isn't allowed. The bottle has to be 100ml or less too, they won't allow half-full bottles. There are plenty of signs in the airport that'll advise you on what you can/cannot put in your hand luggage before you go through security so you'll have time to put stuff in your check-in luggage if need be.

If you are still concerned or confused, ring up Hawaiin Airlines and they'll do their best to help you out

What is the best airline for travel to Hawaii?

When I went to Hawaii, I used Northwest airlines. The flight there was great, but the flight home was not so great. It is a red-eye flight and trying to sleep on the plane was horrible. I will never fly Northwest again. My friends have flown Hawaiian airlines and loved it. No midnight flights. The flight takes about 5 1/2 hours from the west coast of the USA. Next time I go to Hawaii, Hawaiian airlines has my business! They are a little bit more expensive than Northwest, but worth it. When you are almost to Hawaii, you will have to fill out some paperwork. Hawaii wants to know if you are bringing any plants and things to Hawaii. Enjoy your trip. Aloha!

Anybody live in Hawaii...if so what's it like?

I have lived here for > 30 years and I love it. I hope to never live anywhere else. However, it has its trade offs. My husband & I are both reasonably well paid professionials. We live in a small townhouse that costs much more than mainland homes that are much larger & much fancier than our place. We take few vacations to see family on the mainland. You will hear people talk about the price of paradise, & it is really true. Our electric rates are off the chart, gasoline is always at or near the top for the country, milk is $5/gallon, the average price for a single family home is > 600K. I feel fortunate that we are making it here.

Another thing that is different here is the cultural diversity. I actually love that. When I visit the mainland, it always seems strange to me that it's mostly people who look like me. I love the fact that there are so many different cultures here. Everyone is a minority & some folks who move here from the mainland have trouble handling that. Live here long enough, you will occasionally be on the receiving end of some of some ethnic bias. The way you carry yourself will determine whether this will be on ongoing issue or a blip on the screen.

Hawaii is beautiful, the weather is great, the beach is just down the street. It's all true & I enjoy all of it. But when you live here, you are so busy living your live that you don't get to enjoy these things the way you do when you are here on vacation. I love the beach, but it can be weeks, or even months between visits to the beach. If you are young & single, you are more able to live a quasi-tourist lifestyle on weekends, but it gets harder to do that as you get more commitments in life.

You can see the Hawaiian Airlines Route Map here:Hawaiian Airlines DestinationsAll of their international destinations are Asia-Pacific. In the past, there has been speculation as to whether they would fly to London when they had Airbus A350 aircraft on order. But, in a nutshell they fly to:TokyoBeijingSeoulBrisbaneAucklandSydneyPago PagoPapeete

Best travel loyalty program for Hawaii trip?

Good question, of course it depend on what you wanna use points for, like if you got AMEX points, you can transfer to Hawaiian airlines, point for point, cost few buck to AMEX to transfer, but you can get one way coach for round 25K point, or use point to upgrade to first class if you buy coach, or just trade point for first class, ok? Now my opinion, United a waste of time, they expire they points very quick, and they only allow point seat purchase for near empty flite, which neva happen to Hawaii, ok? Delta same thing, and AA not too bad, but take lotta point for seat, ok? Hyatt, Hilton and Aston all pretty good for point transfer, and Starwood good too, but not take lotta different point from credit card, so consider that, ok? Of course renta car with points work well at Hertz and Avis, less so at Alamo, less you deal direct with point source like AMEX, or Mastercard, ok? So, my suggest if you wanna travel to Hawaii, or anywhere Hawaiian go, then consider getta HA mastercard with a FF membership, and start getting points, they usually best deal, and if you use HA for travel, they can apply point to several different hotel, and rental company, ok? AMEX you can transfer to HA, Delta, or AA, but not United, ok? I stop use my United Airline master card cause of crappy exchange rate, and poor service onna point redemption, but that just me, ok? Hope this help, peace and aloha to you!

Texas offers many travel attractions, but do not expect Hawaiian air temperatures (and summer beach activities) during the winter months – even in the southern Gulf Coast, where millions of North Americans look for winter refuge.Similarly, do not expect mild temperatures during the summer, in most popular travel destinations. Houston is well known for its harsh summer weather. High levels of humidity and heat waves can make the weather unbearable – leaving people to look for refuge in Galveston or other coastline resorts. As to the best time to visit Texas, it depends on what you enjoy most.
