Has Anyone Booked A Seattle Duck Tour With A Voucher

Is it correct to write, “Please find attached the following reports”?

I would sooner say “I have attached the following reports:” or “Attached, you will find the following reports:”. Neither is impolite, even without the please. To make your sentence technically correct— “Please find, attached, the following reports:” Notice the colon in all three instances.

What is the difference between a babysitter and a nanny?

Experience and circumstance. A nanny is a long term carer. Someone that cares for the children full time (i.e. 8am-6pm while the parents work) or on a regular part time schedule usually for an extended period of time (a year or more). Nannies tend to have more experience and might have education in child care. Nannies may also be hired as an employee of the household in which case the household deducts things like taxes, employment insurance, and pension from the pay check and may have to contribute to those things as well. If a nanny is not an employee they will file taxes as self employed. A babysitter is usually considered an informal arrangement. A babysitter will be booked for a specific event or outing. Often babysitters work at night while the parents go on date night. Occassionally babysitters may work during the day on weekends/school holidays. It is not a regularly scheduled arrangement, it is separate from whatever regular daily child care the parents have. Babysitters may be teens and have much less experience than Nannies. Also babysitters are often paid in cash immediately after they finish work. Usually they do not pay tax on that money if they are teens or if they do not earn enough to report it.

If I'm using Lyft can I pay my driver with cash?

You are not supposed to use cash for Lyft and drivers generally don’t like it. One of the advantages of Lyft and Uber is that you are not a target for theft because there is no cash involved. Not to mention the fact that the company isn’t going to receive its percentage of the fare—they really don’t like that. You also don’t have to pay immediately. You finish your ride, say goodbye, and go to the app. You give the driver a 5 Star rating (always!) and add a tip if you want. It goes on your credit card and you pay in 20 or 30 days like any other credit card expense.Paying cash would mean that the driver has to turn off the application, work out what the ride would cost if the application was working, and then take your payment. Also, there is a record in your app that you’ve contracted/called for a cab and a record in the driver’s app that he received a request and answered. Then you both cancelled. It’s a pain and I imagine most drivers would object.
