Is escrow.com a scam site ? Or can this one be trusted ?
I am planning on buying a vehicle from craigslist, the seller is in the navy and currently living in the UK, from what he says hes going to be sent to Iraq in 3 weeks or so. He suggests we use Escrow.com , I put the money in the trust fund, he has the car sent to me within 5 days, i have 5 days to check it and if i accept, then will he receive the money. Does this all sound legit ? Is escrow.com a reliable site ? Ive heard of many scam escrow sites.
Trusted sites for buying cigars online?
I've never bought cigars online and would like to try. However, I'm not really sure what site i should use to buy my cigars. I'm just not really sure if i can trust any if them, because the last thing i want is to buy a box of cigars that are dry and haven't been maintained properly. I have never purchased anything from iceposter.com. Usually when I am trying to check out the validity of a site that I have never heard of before, I try the following: 1. google the domain name with scam, suck, etc.. For example, iceposter scam, iceposter sucks 2. Does the site have a phone number? Company address? 3. Send them an email with a question and see how long they take to get back to you. 4. Go to network solutions, and do a "whois". Type in the domain and see when it site was registered (does the information match the address listed on the site?)
