Is buying phones on amazon safe?
I've never bought a phone on amazon before and I like this phone but my mom thinks that it's dangerous. Mainly because something will break and we will lose that money. Yes, Usually every month I used Amazon USA to purchase products. If you have already have account at Amazon India use same credentials for Amazon USA then you can purchase products. But the problem is Amazon US will not ship all products to India, So in this case we have to choose Freight Forwarding services like ShopUSA, MyUS and shipito. If you are okay to pay shipping charges and Custom duty, then you can definitely go for it. Now a days those services will ship the product within 3 to 5 days to India. I am sure Compare to India price you can definitely save some money after paying Handling and custom fee. And those services will take care all the custom process. Is it safe to buy a 40k phone from amazon India?
Once I bought HP laptop worth Rs 35,000 from Amazon. I didn't like it because it was heating too much, a common problem in HP laptops. So I decided to return the product to Amazon. Within 2-3 days Amazon guy came and took laptop, next day they transferred money to my account. Pretty quick huh!!So, lets say, if you buy it from local Retailer and want to repair it. You will have to visit nearest service center. Similarly will happen in case of Amazon bought phone.Addition advantage here is, you can return if you dont like it. That option is not available in nearby store.So, decision is yours. Please do read return policy of amazon before buying.
Is buying from amazon.com safe?
I have bought regularly from Amazon since the 1990s and found them to be very reliable and great to work with. In all that time I think I have had just one minor customer service issue and that was quickly resolved. Amazon ships quickly and on time or lets you know there will be a delay. Please note that about half Amazon's products are fulfilled by 3rd parties. Be sure to check out their ratings, shipping policies, and other details before ordering products from them through Amazon. Also, in a few cases I've been able to buy directly from the 3rd party's web site for less than Amazon's price by combining it with a coupon code for a discount or free shipping. How to tell amazon to deliver to next door neighbour?
If your neighbor agrees, you could have the package shipped to them. In the Amazon ordering information there is a separate box to enter the "deliver to" address. But that would mean they would just deliver it there, without seeing if you are home. You could leave a note for them, but that is advertising that you are gone, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you are living in a controlled access situation. It is NOT Amazon that is delivering to you. It is the shipping method you choose when you order. Which ever one you choose, you might be able to catch the delivery person and make a deal with them. But try to look at it from their point of view. I can see many, many people would be upset if a package they ordered was delivered to a neighbor who likes to steal things. You have not, in your agreement with the shipping company, given them permission to deliver to any other address than the one you specified in your order.
