Credit Report - IC system & Collection Agencies?
For some reason after I canceled my time warner cable, they decided to send my last bill to IC system which is a collection agency. I called Time Warner to pay the balance once, and they told me they haven't adjusted my account balance yet, next time I called to pay after 2 weeks they told me they have transferred my account to a collection agency? 1- Does this effect my credit score/report? 2- Does paying the last bill to this collection agency get rid of the record in my credit report? 3- If this effect my credit is it possible to sue Time Warner? They said they have no idea why this was sent to a collection agency, but that's not my problem.
Paypal negative balance question?
I recently sold an item to a person, not through ebay but strictly using paypal. Anyways the person opened a Item Not Received Dispute on paypal and now my paypal account is negative over $500. My question is will paypal charge my bank account for my negative balance or will i just remain negative until i can pay them back? I plan on paying back the negative balance but i just cannot afford to pay it back right this minute, being a full time student i rarely even have enough to eat. Thank you in advance for your answers. BTW the item was indeed shipped, the tracking number has not update in some time though, i am in the process in talking to USPS but i just need to know this about paypal worst case scenario.
Who is calling me from IC systems, # 202-367-9287?
I get calls from this place every day around 9:30am. Its getting really annoying and I want it to stop! Every time I answer it says "please hold the line" and I'm not wasting my minuets on it so I hang up, I've stopped answering. So this morning they left a 3 min message going "hello? Hello? Helllllllloooooooo?" I'm 15 and this is my cell phone, can they even legally call this number?
How to name compounds using classical system? SO CONFUSED!?
How do you know to change an elements name from lets say, iron to fer + suffix? I understand which suffixes to apply (-ous vs. -ic), I'm just confused how you are supposed to know to change the name completely. Like what does copper become? Since it's not Ironous or Ironic, I know calling Cu2O copperrous oxide isn't correct... right? The exam I'm studying for is the General Science Praxis II, it is all multiple choice so maybe if there is a questions like this, the following choices will be obvious as long as I have a general understanding of the naming system, and they give me the information I need (like what the two possible oxidation states of Cu are so I know which suffix to use). "Name each of the following compounds, using the classic and stock systems: a. Cu2O b. Hg2(NO3)2"
A debt collector called me today. What should I do?
He was talking about lawyers or something He says I owe money to a hospital around $400 dollars But I told him I couldn't pay it because I'm on a tight budget right now. What should I do? I'm not worried about it affecting my credit by the way. I could care less about that. I never plan on buying a new home or car.
Constant wrong number call. what do i do?
so i am constantly getting a call on my cell from a local number, and the guy always asks for Kathy. he has called me 5 times in the last 2 hours today, calls me at least once a day, and when i answer, he sometimes hangs up, and sometimes asks for kathy and then i tell him has the wrong number, he hangs up, then calls right back. I googled the number and it gave a name, but i didn't know who it was, so i know it isn't prank calls from my friends. i had my dad answer the phone once and tell him he had the wrong number and the guy still called back, my mom answered and he still called back. is there a way to block a certain number from calling? what should i do?
Every time I call a certain number I get a busy signal. Why do I keep getting a busy signal?
You have been blocked by the owner of that number, well, your phone number has been blocked. Try calling from a different phone number, if the call goes through then you will know your number was blocked.
