Has Laser Surgery Worked To Reduce Stretch Marks

Does Laser Stretch Mark Removal Work?

I haven’t had it done yet but I'm interested in it, apparently it stimulates your stretch marks to heal more than they have done naturally, probably won’t get rid of them completely but make them look better than they do now.
Check out: http://www.stretch-mark-removal.info there’s a video clip of the procedure on there as well.

Stretch Marks Laser Treatment?

I understand how bad you feel, that is why it is important that you listen to what I have to say.

Laser treatment is really, really short term meaning that after a while you will have your stretch marks back and you will have spent a mountain of money, but still have a dent in your self-esteem.

Why is this? Sure, laser surgery does remove your stretch marks. However, that is it. It only removes them, but does NOT remove the cause which is weak/stretching skin.

This means that after some time when the surgery has removed your stretch marks, they will come back, because nothing was done to make the skin itself stronger.

However, making your skin stronger and removing the stretch marks at the same time is possible!

Recommending a cream or anything is obviously impossible since I don't know your skin color, age, etc. But for this reason we have built a tool that lets you insert all this information, and will give you the best possible treatment to use!

Hope this helps.

Does laser stretch mark removal work?

i don't know how it can work, i saw a horror story in a magazine where a women was left with even bigger sore marks after because the laser was too high,

stretchmarks are scar tissue, they fade and go flat but they don't dissapear, just know that more than half of females get them during puberty and pregnacy and its a fact of life! you probably hate they was they look but other will barely notice!

Does getting laser therapy on stretch marks hurt?

Sorry to tell you, but you'll never get rid of your stretch marks. Believe me, I feel your pain. I'm 26 now and I've had them since I was about 14, and like you I've never had a problem with weight--I think mine are more hereditary. I've tried EVERYTHING and have even gone to dermatologists and plastic surgeons about the issue, and have been given the same answer each time-- you can not completely rid yourself of stretch marks. The last doctor I went to about the Fraxel laser surgery, which I believe is the latest technique they are using, informed me that the laser treatments would only improve the texture of the stretch marks--not the appearance. They have yet to develop something that will improve both texture and appearance.
Of the stories that I have heard from people who have tried laser surgery, most have stated that the procedure only made things worse, it was relatively painful (almost like someone popping you with a rubber band), and it certainly was expensive. I believe most laser treatments for stretch marks require at least six 1 hour sessions and you could pay anywhere from $150-$300 per session depending on the doctor. Unless you're planning on footing the bill for the provedure, at 16 I'm not sure your parents would be willing to pay out that kind of money (cause their insurance probably won't cover it as it is a cosmetic procedure).
If you're still interested in the procedure I suggest you do some research online, or have a consultation with a doctor who does the laser surgery. If you don't hear what you want to hear...as I have heard so many times, take heart. I've been told that at least 90% of women will get stretch marks at some point in their life. If your friends don't have any now, the likelihood that they will eventually develop some, whether through pregnancy or weight gain, is pretty certain. Then you can welcome them to the club!
