hi i am 11 to and i have the voyager and these are reasons to get a phone: -in case of an emergency -like if someone comes late to pick you up, you just call her so you don't have to use other peoples phones -make your parent's mind at ease because when they need to contact you.. -don't need to hear you nagging for a cellphone anymore -the cost is so low these days so it isn't that hard of a decision 2 buy one ---you know what i did to get my phone....i made a powerpoint for what i would do if i get a phone like say you don't clean your room when your parents tell you to just make a ppt and say i will do whatevr u say when evr u say----lol -explain calmly and smoothly why you need one -prove to them that you are responsible enough to have a cell phone -my first phone was prepaid so show them how responsible you are with that -it offers a sense of protection -you can contact your parents whenever you want -they're really handy to use and can have special features like calenders that help you keep track of your life Remember, no begging! You can raise a complaint against these marketing companies to TRAI via your service provider. TRAI is very strict on the on such marketing companies. All the service providers are bound to take action, if an such complain received from the customer.TRAI has given a specific format for the complaint SMS to be sent to number 1900. Still the easiest way is to download an app , which will take care of the format and allow you to send the complaint instantly on a click of a button. One such app which I am using is DND India - SPAM reporter - Apps on Google Play . This app also have the unique feature of prompting you, if you get any unsolicited sms or call. Once you file complain the Service provider have to take action against those. Once one of my friend got blocked 14 such numbers of the same company. It is effective.
