Has My Aloe Vera Leaf Spoiled

Pure aloe vera gel from aloe vera leafs, blended and mixed with water and drink as juice?

Hi,

I have tried searching online for the questions that I am having but didn't find it, so I am asking everyone of you here.

I bought three aloe vera leaf from Asian Super Market, I removed the gel from leafs, blended the gel, add enough water just to get the right thickness, put in a 1/2 gallon drinking bottle and placed it in the fridge. I drank 1/2 a cup of it this morning right before breakfest. The amount I blended should last me about two to three weeks.

My question is:

- is this ok?

- how much should I drink the juice? what is the right amount? I am planing on drinking 1/2 a cup in the morning and in the evening. It taste nasty but I am drinking it for the benefit of it.

- how long can I keep it in the fridge before it goes bad? ( aloe vera gel mixed and blended with water).

I would really appreciate the tips and advice.

I have aloe vera plant leaf and cut it and put it on my face to remove spots. My face stings and the next day gives me more spots. Why? L?

Aloe vera wont work but these pads will. Get something new that works. One simple step that works to keep acne and acne scars away.
Niacinamide (aka Niapads ®) face pads help keep acne away by scrubbing open clogged pores, oily residues and exfoliation. Feel a pimple coming? Just wet a pad, place it on the pimple and remove it when dry. Sit back and watch pimple disappear. Works on body acne too.
These pads also help reduce skin hyperpigmentation (acne scars). Try it and see the difference.

How can u tell that aloe vera juice is spoiled?

Aloe starts to be destroyed when it is harvested. The simple process of "cutting" into the flesh starts the process of it breaking down. Most over the counter aloe products are not in their pure form. I only am familiar with one company that can process it to keep it pure. Go to this site and click on "Products" find "Ace Aloe + " It will tell you about it www.symmetrydirect.com/jaallen

I didn't wash the aloe vera leaf before I cut it... Is that REALLY bad?

Naw, that's not bad at all, since you discarded the skin and since you're using it in a toner. Sounds like a good recipe! Does it work? : )

What do I do with My Aloe Vera Plants?

Aloe Vera cannot tolerate winter chill and only grow outside all year round in Zones 10 and 11. It is too cold where you are and you need to bring them indoors to overwinter on a sunny windowsill.

Wilting or mushy leaves are a sign of root rot caused by the cold. Take a look at the crown of the plant where the leaves come out - if the crown feels soft and rotten and gives off a bad smell then the plant has severe root rot and may not survive. Best thing is to take it out of the pot and take a look at the roots but don't brush or wash the dirt off. If any roots are soft and rotten trim them off but leave the healthy ones alone. Repot in a fresh pot of cactus compost or use ordinary compost mixed with half sand or perlite for good drainage. Give it a slight water but don't water again until the top of the soil is dried out. Put on a sunny windowsill and hopefully the plants will grow out of it. Humidity and cold are their worst enemies. Good luck!

There can be several reasons, but the most common is, too much sun exposure. This is usually happen when the plant is placed in place with full sun and given very little watering (less than once per 4–5 days). The plant’s leaves turn red, then begin to wrinkle. It can recover by itself if given more water or moved to place with partial shade. In the wilds, Aloe vera and other plants from the same genus have their leaves turn red during dry season is normal.

It’s turning red because it needs water.

Does aloe vera gel go bad?

If you've had it for over 2 yrs. then yes, it has now gone bad as the properties will degrade over time. If you keep it in the fridge it will last longer, but a plant would be a much better idea if you hardly use it. Fresh aloe vera will last about 3 wks in the fridge before the color starts to change and even then it can still be used on burns. The bottled variety will last a few months longer because they are usually not 100% aloe gel. Remember for best results do not put anything else on your burn before you soothe it with the aloe. Just keep rewetting it for fast relief and little or no scarring.
