Akanksha Choudhary.She is a model who won miss India elite crown 2016. She is just 20 years old and soon will represent India internationally in beauty pageants.But here’s whats extremely exciting about her. Akanshka is a IIM- A student. She secured an admission in its flagship PGP program (which is probably the world’s toughest course to get selected into). She scored a 98.12 percentile in her CAT and has joined IIM-A for the 2017 -19 batch. She is also a alumni of the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce in New Delhi where she secured 5th rank.And if all that was not enough, she became a model by fluke, yeah like just like that. Why did Japan join WWII?
Japan is an island nation with very little natural resources. During the Meiji Restoration from 1868-1912 Japan quickly industrialized herself to catch-up with the rest of the world. As we all know any industrialized nation needs resources to keep the machine going. Japan had no: coal, iron ore, coke, bitumen, oil, or other necessary resources to maintain her industrialization. Japan had to expand and claimed she was hemmed in from the Northern Pacific by the western powers, specifically the United States. Japan really had no argument since the U.S. had already legally claimed areas of the Northern Pacific decades before the U.S. opened up Japan to the west in 1855. So Japan invaded China in 1939 while the USA remained neutral. Both the Japanese and Germany underestimated the U.S. and thought America would never get involved in a war and that America was a second rate power. So like the 'pre-emptive strike' performed against Imperial Russia at Port Arthur in 1906, Japan gambled and performed a pre-emptive strike against America at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. Japan hoped to wipe out America's sea power in the Northern Pacific with this one crippling blow. On December 12th, 1941 Adolf Hitler declared war on the USA. Both countries underestimated the USA.
