Has Obamacare Benefited You

So why should we keep Obamacare ?

There are small sections of the ACA that are reasonable. I am not against letting adult sons and daughters to be covered under certain circumstances. Also unreasonable caps on lifetime maximum needed correction. All health care plans I am familiar with did have a short period of non coverage for pre-existing conditions.
The progressive will tell you that those that lost their health care coverage only had JUNK insurance thet really didn't cover anything. Those policies only benefited the insurance companies and ripped off the poor people. Then in the next line those same it-wits will tell you that Obamacare was mostly written by the insurance companies. Then they will tell you that it is just like Romneycare. Then the finalize the BS by telling us that Obamacare was written by a conservative think tank.
I guess the progressives are so fragmented that they don't know which lie is the current one to use.

Who benefits the most from Obamacare, republicans or democrats?

Republicans benefit politically because it’s far easier to use Obamacare as a political piñata than it is to design (and then sell) a coherent healthcare reform plan. Here’s a quote from House Speaker Paul Ryan from earlier this year on Face the Nation (host John Dickerson): [1]Host John Dickerson: You said that you wanted the Republicans to offer an alternative [to Obamacare] to the president. One of the first things you did this year, though, was offer that repeal. How is than an alternative?Speaker Paul Ryan: It’s not. It’s why we have to come up with an alternative. So, you’re right about that one.Fully 8 years after the ACA was first debated - and 6 years since its passage - and the Republicans have no alternative - let alone cohesive - plan to replace Obamacare.More broadly, of course, America benefits the most by having more people with healthcare insurance. The number of uninsured is the lowest it’s ever been - since we began tracking this segment of the population.[1] Speaker Paul Ryan Gets Called Out for GOP's Incompetence on Health Care (Video)

Does Obamacare affect social security benefits?

Directly? No. Indirectly (and significantly) Yes! Here's why you have to look at "cause and effect".The more people who sign up for, and can afford ACA, the more the transfer payments to these lower income people will effect the debt. The drive to insure people in 2014 is impacting MedicAid, this impacts the long term deficit. The driver today is the intent to get people enrolled and to have a subsidy (aka "wealth transfer"). The promise was to have no impact on the deficit. The actual result will be higher taxes and or reduced enrollments. The ACA will enter a "death spiral" due to funding issues. The SSA was, and will continue to remain, financially untenable.Social Security and ACA will need to become an option, not a requirement.Tom Byron's answer to What are the cleverest scams you have come across?http://www.heritage.org/research... http://www.patriotnetdaily.com/o...

What are your views on Obama Care?

Do you believe that Obama Care is a great thing for our country, it could be good if changes are made, or it is the wrong approach to making health care affordable and should not exist

How did Obama Care affected Medicare?

One direct effect that has already taken place is closing the Prescription Drug “Donut Hole”. So there is 4 million seniors who are doing better now then before Obama became president. Expanding care for early retirees has gone in to effect. All preventative care and screenings for seniors are now free, no cost, under Medicare. Curbing Medicare fraud.

Obamacare, or PPACA, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, mainly applies to those under 65. Medicare is a separate government health program. Obamacare rules apply mostly to individual and group health insurance policies for Americans under 65 and who are not yet eligible for Medicare.

Medicare premiums are also not related to Obamacare. There has been some discussion and concern that the Part B premium may go up to $247.00 a month in 2014. Obamacare does not determine Medicare Part B premiums.

Here is an article from Senior Corps that explains what few affects there will be.

In short, seniors have benefited greatly from Obamacare. We can only hope that seniors see through the lies, like that in another answer, and take advantage of the programs available, and live a long healthy life without the fear of going bankrupt.

I am sorry to have to add this, but whenever I see that lie I get pissed. NOBODY is taking $700 billion out of Medicare. That is painfully and simply a lie. It has been debunked and fact check ad nauseam. Another flaw of the Republican machine, tell a lie often enough, people will start to believe it. I am suspicious of this one answer below, just does not make sense.
