“For most folks, no news is good news; For press good news is not news .”This is exactly what is happening. News channels are not here for showing news or giving information. It has become a competition. Competition for market. Competition for viewership. Competition to be number one. Even if it comes at the cost of spreading wrong information.I have faced a wrong information situation recently.When Karnataka election 2018 results were getting out all the news channels were showing “REAL TIME” vote counting. The only source of actual data is election commission of India website. At one point of time the ECI website showed below result.From the above table it was clear that BJP was leading + winning at 106 seats and congress was at 75.At the exact same time one of the leading news channel was showing this data.From where did BJP get those extra 2 seats and where did Congress’ 4 seats go? From where did the news channel get this information when ECI website states otherwise.During the same results i came across another instance.I was very much interested in BADAMI constituency from where Siddaramaiah was contesting. ECI website showed this.Siddaramaiah was leading with 67K votes while second position was Sheeramulu from BJP with 61K votes.But again the same news channel showed something different.News channel showed Sheeramulu was leading with approx 56K vote. which was contradiction to ECI data.2nd Placed Siddaramaiah had 61K votes compared to 56K votes of Sheeramulu.On the side dashboard it showed Siddaramaiah leading and Sheeramulu trailing.On the same page there are two different data of leader and trailer.How can news channel not know which value is bigger 56K or 61K ? Do they need to go to Nursery to learn it again .Now on dashboard it is showing 108 seats to BJP. Which data did they consider to show - Sheeramulu leading data or trailing data?In the name of being first to update the viewers they are just changing the numbers. While other news channels are still stuck with 106 to BJP we are already showing you BJP at 108. We are more updated.This is wrong. This has to stop. No news channel has right to give us false information on the name of being updated.The news channels aren’t there to tell you what happened. They are there to tell you what they want you to hear or what they think you want to hear.
Airtel,Dish,Tatasky,Sundirect, any thing is good for SD ,the real difference comes only if you are a HD user. I have used sundirectHD, Tata skyHD and switched to DISH TV.Tatasky is good but the way tatasky charges for HD ends you up paying a lot more. They charge HD as a special add-on package and you get HD versions of channels in your base pack.So Rs 200 for base pack (around 200 channels )and 200 for HD add on so finally you pay 400 and end up with HD variants of channels which are available in your base pack. So you get around 10 to 15 channelsOn the other hand DISH TV won't consider HD channels as variants of SD like tatasky.So, you pay 200 for base pack and 200 for HD add on and get all the 50 HD channels available on DISHTV. Now you decide which one to go. Dish TV also gives you recording feature free of cost.AIRTEL also has similar system but a bit pricy and you need to pay for recording.

One fact about Indian daily serials is that no matter how many episodes you miss, when you watch it again, you will be able to follow it totally; reason being stories crawl in Indian serials. But this is just where we get started! Here is a list of the things that happens only in Indian TV serials.Daadies live for 400 yearsDaadies see their bahu, their bahu’s bahu, and their bahu’s bahu’s kids as well.But it doesn’t end here, the catch is that daadies never grow old.They look exactly the same, as they used to look when her sons got married.Divorce and remarriage is just a normal thingIndian daily soaps have so many divorces and remarriage that you will feel, getting divorced or remarried is a child’s earn super points at your favourite retailers and choose great rewards..no stop, did you think it ends here? This is where the story starts, Remarriage has happened, but the girl or the guy will still be in love with the first husband. Or, the marriage happens by mistake. When we say mistake we mean maybe the villain married the girl or dulhan was drugged. Kya? Kya? Kya? followed by a dramatic tune behind. If there is a slap, the slap is shown thrice, the expression ‘nahi’ is shown thrice. Are you tired already? Wait, there is more coming.Rebirth and look alikeWhen the story does not progress and the writers are out of ideas, Hindi serials start killing the actors which lead to one of the following scenarios: 1. Plastic surgery 2. Rebirth 3. Look-alikeOnce the accident happens, the rebirth happens or the person forgets who he was and then he is back to his own self. There will be some look-alike, who will pose as the person. So confusing isn’t it??
