Has The Division Of Powers Between The National Government And The States Advanced Or Hindered

Has the division of powers between the national government and the states advanced or hindered democracy?

I believe the power of the national government has divided the House of Congress as far as democrats and republicans are concerned. A House divided cannot stand and Congress has been failing for a few decades. It hinders a state when the national government tells them what to do with their money; how to educate their children; how to pave their roads, etc.

What is the ideological difference between national socialism and communism?

National socialism is nationalist, and communism tends to be internationalist, in ideology, though not in practice. Communists had their nation states, which were often at war with one another, and Russians under the Soviet Union were still bombarded with propaganda about "Mother Russia".Another difference was that the fascist forms of socialism, also derived from Marxism, insisted that the nation needed to go through a stage of capitalist industrialization before it could be ready for socialism, then communism, in keeping with Marx's stages of historical development. Also, national socialists were willing to maintain the appearance of private property, in order to lure the support of big businesses, but in reality they practiced government ownership of the means of production. They accomplished this by letting business owners retain their title, while telling those business owners what to do with their property. Ownership means control, and since the state controlled prices, as well as who could be hired, how much people are to be paid, dictated working hours, and decided what would be produced in what quantities, the state effectively owned the means of production. The Soviets openly nationalized the means of production, while the Nazis took control but allowed the superficial appearance of private property. So that last was only a superficial appearance, and not a real ideological difference.

Help in history!?!?! (World War II and I) Few questions i need answering please...!?

WW1 happened because of the expanding imperialist countries. Major countries like France, Austria-Hungary, and England. They all wanted more land and resources to become even more powerful.

The Nazi party is the National Socialist Party. They believed in a strong government and promised to turn Germany back into a world power.

Communists believe in a form of government called communism. Communism has the idea of equality for all and ownership for all. While this idea sounds great on paper, it will never work because of people's greed.

The French and British created the Treaty of Versailles. It was a harsh treaty that forced the Germans to pay reparations to Great Britain and France.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
