Has The Fbi Ever Recommended Ways To Hide From Identity Theives

Will a petty theft conviction show up on an FBI Background Check?

Pleaded no contest to a petty theft misdemeanor 18 (almost 19 years ago). Was technically arrested/fingerprinted and than released. Went to court and paid my fine and have been clean since other than minor traffic violations.

Was just offered a State job and have to go through the background check and FBI Fingerprint check. Application asked if I had been arrested/convicted of a crime in the last 10 years.

From my research I'll have to fill out another back ground form that goes back 7 years (public trust position)

I've run two different back ground (on-line) checks on myself. One turned up a traffic violation six years ago (didn't stop at a railroad crossing) and the other one turned up nothing.

Did not lie on the application and everything else is clear/free, but concerned about the FBI Check. Don't want to give my notice at my present job (supposed to start the new job in three weeks) and need to give my notice ASAP (management position) but also don't want to have the check turn up my prior conviction and than find out I am not eligible for this new State Job.

How can the US defend itself from Chinese technology theft and industrial espionage if there are estimated to be tens of thousands of spies but the FBI, NSA, and CIA only seem to indict and convict a few cases of theft every few years?

Easy — as soon as the US stops its paranoiac imaginations, Chinese technology theft and industrial espionage will disappear.Even among the few cases the FBI, NSA, and CIA have indicted and convicted, most are mistaken (there have been several lawsuits against the US government as a result of its wrongdoings to some Chinese-American scientists in recent years — if you read news). It is said that in the former Soviet Union, every other citizen might be a spy. Look at the US today! Now the US talks about spying every day. The whole thing about China’s IP theft and industrial spying (Huawei being the most recent example) is a political hoax/propaganda.The US makes the rest of the world scared… and laugh. In terms of ruling by fear and intimidation, there is no difference between the US and the former USSR or the Third Reich.

If I were to become an FBI agent would my identity have to be hidden?

The reason I ask is because I am currently going to college for degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science, and have hopes of possibly being accepted into the FBI after the proper amount of work experience, training etc. But my dilemma is this; I am also a Science Fiction writer and I am trying to get some of my novels published, and I don't want to use a pen name. Would my identity have to be hidden or could I do both and use my real name as an author? I mean after all, we see the names of agents from time to time, and everyone knows the name of the FBI director. I can't find an answer to this via any searches or on the FBI site.

I just thought I would ask in hopes that somebody might know. Thanks!

The best place to hide a Dead Body?

You could put it in someone's septic tank -- definitely do not put it in mine! -- but that would be a good place to hide a dead body.

However, it is best not to get into a situation where you have to hide a dead body. Can't you and the soon-to-be-dead-guy just resolve your differences in a civil manner? That would be better.

Lost my drivers licence, do i really need to inform the police?

It is for the Purpose of finding Identity thieves. There Could be 999 yous running around getting Your License revoked. You have to report it to police regardless of whether it was lost or stolen and saves You time and Money. After you make your police report, contact Federal Trade Commission and Lock down ALL of your Credit reports and Contest every last wrongful credit charge that is not yours and refuse to pay!

In Nevada, the Attorney Generals Office was smart enough to give people with stolen Identifying Information an Identity Theft Passport that includes the Police report number, their toll ree number and another Id number with fingerprints that Prove who you are. The Attorney Generals office Is accepted by All Federal Agencies by the way. Ask me how i know? Then make reports to Federal Postal Inspectors and FBI. That should do it. People who don't report it are USUALLY guilty of wrong doing and have something to hide!
