Did Flipkart fail in its 2015 Big Billion Day sale?
This will be an interesting read!In 2015, Flipkart came up with the idea of App-Only Big Billion Day Sale which means if you shop via App, you will get better deals! Right?Absolutely Wrong!Let's look at an example of Portronics Glitz Speaker.Price on Flipkart Website during BBD - 2,930 And guess what was the price of the same item in App?It was 2,999!So unless you bought items worth more than 5k (which entitled you to extra 10% discount and that too for only SBI card holders), you actually had to pay more for buying on the app!!But wait a minute, I can still get it effectively for 2,700/- if I buy two of them and use my SBI card! But why bother? Amazon was selling the same speaker at the same time for 2,6xx/- without any pre-conditions. (Infact it was offering extra 15% discount for HDFC card holders for shopping on app and 10% for website). How do I keep my room super cold in summer?
Get a curtain for your hostel room window or door (whichever faces west) to avoid direct sunlight during afternoon. If possible, get a room with north/south facing doors and windows.This is the setup in my room. My window is on west side. Observe that I have installed a net to avoid mosquitoes so that I can keep window open at night.Get a zero watt bulb for night. Turn off bright lights whenever possible. Because most of the work I do is in my laptop only, I would always keep lights off just to keep my room cool.Again, this is another setup in my room.These two setups will keep your room cool. Keep your windows open at night and closed during afternoon. Enjoy :)
