Have Anyone Ever Bought A Mattress From

Have you ever bought a used bed or mattress?

I haven’t really tried a used bed or mattress. I am not sure about the mattress but I think going for a used bed won’t hurt. In terms of mattress, lot of things come in mind when purchasing a used mattress, most importantly how much it has been used and warranty of the product. If it’s old, it might even have issues of bed bugs or bacteria. So, the hygiene factor comes into play. There are many new mattresses available in the market at a better rate than the used ones so why not ditch the idea of going for something old. If budget is a constraint, you can try Sleep Spa Mattress as all their mattresses will help you save upto 60% off than traditional retail mattresses.

Has anyone bought a mattress from Walmart? Bed in a box? Memory Foam?

I am in desperate need of a new mattress but don't have much money to spend. I was surprised to see the price of mattress at walmart.com as well as the reviews! I would love a memory foam but I am afraid a memory foam mattress from walmart won't hold up long. Of course I'm not expecting a 200 mattress to last yrs and yrs but I think a spring one will last longer then a foam one. If anyone has experience with this it would be great! So right now I am stuck between these 2 mattresses, Slumber 1 - 8'' Mattress-In-a-Box And Signature Sleep Contour- 8" Independently-Encased Coil Mattress Also if anyone has ever bought a foam mattress from Walmart I'm curious to know how it held up!! Thanks for any help..

Has anyone bought a mattress that was a floor sample?

My answer to your immediate question is no. My answer to the question you hinted at but did not ask is yes, I would buy such a mattress, provided it looked to be clean and in good condition. People have lain on it, but they (presumably) haven't had sex on it, spent all night on it, etc. If you like it, if it is indeed more  high end (that could be doubtful, as the mattress sales industry is full of shysterism), if you feel it's a good deal, then go for it.

Has anyone bought anything from sleepco.com (i.e. mattress, pillows, protector, etc.)? Their prices seem reasonable, but I'm not sure.

Yes I bought two pillows with Sleepco and was very satisfied. They’re light and comfortable… would recommend!

Has anyone ever tried sleeping on a Nectar mattress?

I have a Nectar Mattress and here is my review.“There are a few things that you should always buy in person to check for quality. Fresh fruit. Diamond rings. Cars. Up until a few months ago, I would have added mattresses to that list. Wasn’t that one of the morals of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”? Most of us were taught that the moral was that a life of crime does’t pay and you really shouldn’t be sneaking into other people’s houses - especially if they are bears -“ but another, often overlooked moral was “not every mattress will feel JUST RIGHT. Try before you buy.” When I saw Nectar’s claim of a mattress with optimal comfort,I was skeptical. What worked for Mama Bear and Papa Bear wasn’t what worked for Baby Bear. But Nectar’s business model intrigued me as did their pricing structure. And if their mattress didn’t work out, I would return it and they would donate it to charity. Win-win. I’m happy to report that Goldilocks was wrong. There are some mattresses that are JUST RIGHT for everyone. This is one of them. My husband and I both sleep well on our King mattress from Nectar. The quality is fantastic. The business model is sublime. And my bank account is happy that I didn’t spend a small fortune on a bed. So I guess you could say we’re living happily ever after. Unlike Goldilocks. Who really shouldn’t have broken into the bears house.”Nectar is offering $125 Off + 2 free Pillows when you purchase a mattress by using this link.

Has anyone received a free mattress from Sit N' Sleep?

Good question. Unfortunately a couple years ago, I found a mattress that was cheaper than the same on at Sit N Sleep - I called them to beat the deal. They wouldn't saying that even though the ad came from a large chain mattress store, the color was different than the one they had, therefore they wouldn't honor their radio commercial saying that it'd be free. I think it's pretty phony advertising - sorry.

Good luck!

Anyone ever buy a inner spring mattress that comes vacuum sealed and rolled up? Do they work well and last long?

Nearly every major manufacturer is making these vacuum-packed pocket coil mattresses now. For several years, the compressed memory foam models have seen their sales soar because of lower shipping costs (which slashes costs to the consumer), quicker shipping times and ease of ordering/shopping. I would treat these at a model-by-model basis. While they're always "individually wrapped coil" spring units, they aren't necessarily the pocket coil that's in the same company's other models that you may like the feel of. In this instance, the construction of the mattress is limited by how it can be shipped; which is starting things off in the wrong place. Sometimes, it's a weaker coil that's in the boxed, compressed spring mattress and won't hold up as long as other coil mattresses. This isn't always the case but I'd look into other mattresses by the same maker and compare and contrast the bed-in-a-box with their other models.
