Have I Picked Good A-levels

What A Levels did you take?

I did my A-Levels in Chemistry, Biology, French and German (+ AS Maths).I always really liked science and wanted to persue a biological sciences degree at university, so it kind of made sense to me.French and German - well… I am German (so it's not exactly an achievement) and I've had much of a love/hate relationship with French since yr 4. I didn't expect to make it up to A2, and yet it turned out to be one of my favourite classes… and my best A Level grade! As for maths… it was a little bit of a disaster (my fault, I've never been much of a math lover). When choosing your A levels, keep 2 things in mind:What subjects do you need to get onto the course you want?Do you want to study Economics? Then take Mathematics and Economics.Do you wish to study Medicine or a Biology-related subject? Biology and Chemistry go hand in hand.Etc2. What subjects do you like and perform well in?There is no point in torturing yourself with a subject you hate for two years - you probably won't do to well in it if you do (take me and Maths as an example). Most importantly, speak to your teachers, peers, parents, and perhaps older students to find out which subjects would suit you.Best of luck. I'm sure you will make the right decision :)

How to become an airline pilot after picking my A levels?

While you can succeed as a pilot without going to university, you will cut your chances of getting hired by 75% if you don't. The alternative is to gain years and years of extra flight experience in lesser jobs. I also recommend from personal experience that you take a degree in a field other than aviation (unless it is engineering) that you might enjoy and will employ you if an aviation career goes badly (as they sometimes do for lots of reasons).

The nine theoretical knowledge subject areas that must be studied to pass the written tests for all levels of piloting (PPL through ATPL) include:

Air Law
Navigation
Aircraft General Knowledge
Operational Procedures
Flight Performance and Planning
Principles of Flight
Human Performance and Limitations
Communications
Meteorology

This will help you decide what courses to take to better prepare you. Also read this: http://www.balpa.org.uk/intranet/How-to-bec/How%20to%20become%20a%20pilot%20quark.pdf

Is A level photography good?

You've picked Art already which is good, one of the classics.

I wouldn't also pick Photography but go for English Language or another one of the classics... Biology, Maths, History, etc...

How do I get to level 2 on yahoo answers?

Stop ASKING questions. They Cost 5 points EACH. Start ANSWERING questions,as many as you can. You EARN 2 points for each answer. CHOOSE best answers to your questions. You have to wait at least 1 hour or until there is an answer that is NOT your own answer. You get 3 points.
It should take 3 to 4 days to reach level 2. Yes. You CAN fall back a level.

What A Level do you regret doing?

BIOLOGY!! I HATE YOU!Okay, so at the end of my IGCSEs, I ended up getting the 48th percentile in Biology which is an E. That too, without serious studying. I had never liked Biology during my IGCSE course and had expected to fail so naturally, I found it surprising that I managed to pass. Although I wasn't very keen on taking Biology in my A Levels, I decided to take it nevertheless after being inspired by my IGCSE results and resolved to work harder. We had a different teacher for Biology in our A Levels and she was really a lazy git, chatting 70% of the classtime and teaching only 30%. I performed poorly in the class tests and my Dad decided to approach her for tuitions. As expected, she wasted our tuition time by just chatting with me. What's more is that she did the tuitions for just six weeks when my Dad had paid the money for eight weeks. After the sixth week, she stopped coming to my house and didn't even pickup my Dad's calls. Me and my Dad tried to approach her but she cleverly avoided us. Finally, my Dad decided to lodge a complaint against the school authorities and she was forced to pay the money back. And guess what, I ended up failing my AS Biology. That was the last straw! I finally dropped Biology.
