Have Man Utd Ruled Themselves Out Of The Title Race

It seems to Claudio Ranieri (right at the halfway of the EPL) that 'Nobody wants to win the league this season'. How do you react to that comment?

In stating that Raneiri wanted to emphasise on the fact that clubs have changed their season goal from winning the title to qualifying for European competitions play it safe and wait for others to run out of steam and screw their points tally.A club like City and when I say City you know it's somehow Manchester play Leicester you expect them to attack and try to win the game and take home the 3 points and more so when they are unexpectedly lagging behind the previous season minnows. But such has been the extent of competition this season with Watford and Leicester adding to the regularly well performing teams like Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur. After 19 rounds and the end of year 2015 the table is as compact as you get it. 10 points separate 1st from 10th and a mere 2 points separate 5th from 10th.Losing a match in such packed table could be frightful for any club's standing and hence clubs are resorting to NOT LOSING TO FELLOW TABLE TOPPERS which was evident in City's cautious approach who are always title contenders. The same matchday United and Chelsea play out a nil nil draw too though both teams were desperate for points. This clearly shows a change in mentality. Don't lose is a priority instead of go out and win.A mention has to go to the Ferguson era United team who regularly won titles by winning against fellow title contenders eventually playing them out of contention.Raneiri is right to acknowledge that part as to me only Arsenal look like going for a win regardless of the team they play both domestically and in Europe (evidently the way they humiliated Bayern) but then they are too erratic for any bookies' liking.Premier league 2015-16 is open season. Everyone can go for it but unfortunately no one is. They are waiting for others to slip up.

Why are Latino's ..i.e South American Countries proud to be Spanish?

first of all, most people i know dont like to label themselves as "hispanic". most simply refer to themselves as mexican, puerto rican, cuban etc. some also use the term "latino" which specifically refers to people from the latin american region rather than to europe.

as far as the language issue goes, you could also point out the fact that americans speak english despite the fact that most of us arent direct descendants of english colonists (i'm mexican american). also, the aztec, maya, and inca people that you specifically mentioned werent given a choice to speak spanish instead their indigenous languages, but were forced to due to the sudden and devastating fashion their traditional way of life was altered.

although most people from latin america speak spanish, that doesnt mean that they embrace european customs while rejecting their own indigenous heritage. the majority of people from latin america today are either mestizo, mulato, indian, spanish, african or some combination of all of the above. their customs and traditions reflect that blending of cultures. most of their traditional music, food, clothing, and celebrations are entirely unique as a result of their unique history. theyre not simply an imitation of spanish customs.

also, there are many indigenous groups that werent affected by the spanish conquest/colonization and still continue to speak their native languages and practice their native traditions.

What does it mean that Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6)?

Jesus will be the nation’s Wonderful (“exceptional” or “distinguished”) Counselor, and the people will gladly listen to Him as the authoritative One. In the kingdom many people will be anxious to hear the Messiah teach God’s ways (Isa_2:3). He is also the Mighty God (cf. Isa_10:21). Some have suggested that this simply means “a godlike person” or hero. But Isaiah meant more than that, for he had already spoken of the Messiah doing what no other person had been able to do (e.g., Isa_9:2-5). Isaiah understood that the Messiah was to be God in some sense of the term.

This Deliverer will also be called the Everlasting Father. Many people are puzzled by this title because the Messiah, God’s Son, is distinguished in the Trinity from God the Father. How can the Son be the Father? Several things must be noted in this regard. First, the Messiah, being the second Person of the Trinity, is in His essence, God. Therefore He has all the attributes of God including eternality. Since God is One (even though He exists in three Persons), the Messiah is God.

The Messiah is also called the Prince of Peace, the One who will bring in and maintain the time of millennial peace when the nation will be properly related to the Lord. Together, these four titles give a beautiful picture of the coming Messiah’s character

The Messiah, seated on David’s throne (Luk_1:32-33), will have an eternal rule of peace and justice. His rule will have no end; it will go on forever. Following the kingdom on earth, He will rule for eternity. He will maintain righteousness, as His rule will conform to God’s holy character and demands.

Shalom,
