Have Others Experiences This Type Of Mostly Emotional Pain

What is the deepest kind of emotional pain you have experienced?

Depression. It's like the undertow of the ocean. It seems innocuous at first: I can handle the waves; it's not that deep; I can get myself back to safety. You try to continue living your life, playing your part, going through the motions, ignoring the dynamics of the pull, deluding yourself into believing it's not affecting you. You go on with your days, kicking and dog paddling, juggling everything, believing you can handle it for now and will soon get back to the shallow waters where your feet can touch and you don't have to constantly toil to stay afloat. Then before you know it, you are shockingly far from the shore you always loved: the warm sand, the people you care for, the activities you enjoy, and the relaxation of being on solid ground. You struggle to swim back, but something has changed: you're not as strong as you were, you're easily tired, and you seem powerless against "It." It is invisible. It is silent. It is massive. It wants you to stay with It out in the cold depths where you can't touch and your strokes toward the shore yield so little progress relative to the herculean effort you exert trying to get back to your former status quo. You struggle to overcome Its force, knowing that there are people and things on the shore needing your attention. You buckle down, throwing everything you have into the effort to return. When you finally look up ahead to chart your progress, you are dismayed to see how little distance you have seemingly covered, but something else jars your mind: the shore. It's changed. Almost imperceptibly. The people are still there, laughing, playing, picnicking, coming, and going. But no one is looking for you! They've continued their lives without you. No search party. No emergency. Nothing. This is when It finally breaks its silence with a deafening whisper..."it's not worth it...they don't need you...you have nothing to offer...they don't miss you...they didn't even notice you were gone...they are fine without you...no one needs you now...you are different now...you are damaged...you are weak...you don't have anything to offer anymore...they don't want you...stay with Me...I am strong...I am the only one for you now..." The struggle then doubles as you fight with yourself as well as It.A choice ensues.

Why do we hide emotional pain?

im wondering how come if you're happy you want to tell the whole world, but when you hide something emotionally painful you'd rather not share it and hide it. Why is that?

What do you deal with emotional pain?

i try to pick up something positive from it...
although it is hard but why cant u try...

do some pray it will solace ur heart...
think that there are other people who endured more emotional pain than u had....

Is it rare to experience five-fold Synesthesia?

It depends. Are you a projector or are these in your mind's eye?
I project some, and internalize some. For me, music and emotion are the strongest. I project both of those as well as some aspects of my grampheme.
I think you should consider joining MixSig and then take the Syn battery test. There are syn researchers all over the world that are always looking for people to test, if you don't mind that sort of thing.
Hope this helps!
p.s. I am discovering new aspects even now, and I am an adult! And having many affects is called Polymodal. And I don't think I am any different either. I simply have another way of viewing/remembering things. Plus, I love my music--> color . I think I would be very unhappy if I couldn't just sit back and enjoy the light show every now and then. : )

Can a person be born without an emotion?

Mosft often, a person isn't born without emotion, they end up burning it out due to abuse or neglect,

However, there are cases in which people are not only born unable to feel emotion, but others are born feeling an excess of emotion, and still others are born with their emotions "crossed".

The worst of those with emotional disabilities are sociopaths, who not only fake most of their emotions, but lack a conscience as well.
