Has anyone read Dan Browns The Lost Symbol?
I just finished it earlier this morning and I was very impressed. I actually do enjoy all three books. I became very involved with the historical facts and legends revolving around the city in which this book takes place. I enjoyed the suspense and plot turns. Every aspect of the book, even the end, fulfilled my expectations. If you are a Dan Brown fan than I would recommend you read this despite reviews. For the most part I couldn't put it down. I love all his books, and there is no problem going from one book to another considering non of them are connected. Robert Langdon does appear in two other books, but they are all three separate events.
Why isn't The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown liked by many?
I agree with the premise of this question -- that many people dislike The Lost Symbol. I think the general reason for this sentiment is that expectations were really high for The Lost Symbol, but then the book turned out to be super-disappointing. More specific thinking:Background: The Da Vinci Code was an awesome story -- one of the most fun, addictive pop novels of the past 10-20 years. There were huge expectations for the Lost Symbol, because it was the book that followed The Da Vinci Code. The Da Vinci Code was much better than Brown's previous books (Deception Point, Angels & Demons), so all of us who loved Da Vinci Code thought he had reached a new level of awesome storytelling and that he'd stay at that level for The Lost Symbol.Also, Brown took a long time to write The Lost Symbol -- several years. So all of us fans felt like Brown was really taking his time to make it great, rather than just pumping out a quick sequel for the money.But then... the book itself wasn't good! The story was unoriginal, boring and super-cliched -- like a Da Vinci Code rip-off. The Freemason conspiracy stuff wasn't nearly as interesting or riveting as the religious conspiracy story in DVC. And the characters weren't very good either.To be clear, I wouldn't pay much attention to answers from people who say that they didn't like The Da Vinci Code. Yes yes I understand -- not everyone liked The Da Vinci Code. But to be clear it was one of the bestselling books of all time. In other words, the general disappointment felt toward The Lost Symbol is generally from people who read and enjoyed DVC, not from people whose feeling is "both books sucked."
Why have the Cleveland Browns lost so consistently?
Short answer: Because they have scored fewer points than the opposing team every week so far!Longer answer: They have an inexperienced defense, a bad offensive line and an injured quarterback. It's hard to put together a consistent play scheme with such inconsistencies, and add a new coaching staff on top of all that, and it has made for a bad season this year.The Browns have kept it close in a few games. Ok so i lost my virginity on the 25th of oct thn one the 26th and i was perfectly fine... When i had sex on the 1st of nov I started to have this dark reddish brown discharge and its been two days now... The first day it was barely anyting but today its like when i wiped there was alot of blood i used a thin pad like a liner.. It had alittle blood on it but its dark redddish brown.. Sorry im just trying to give you guys an idea.. I am supposed to get my period on the 9th or the 10th. .. And ths discharge started on the 3rd?? Cant be my period a week early right? I always get my period on time they are only a day or two late or early not more than that... So what could this be? I never had this brown discharge before i had sex? Pls help! I've been having a brown discharge ever since I lost my virginity on this weekend (October 18). I'm somewhat scared as to why I'm still having this discharge. It hurt but I didn't bleed at all at the time. Afterward, I noticed some blood on my underwear and now it's just brown discharge. Is this normal?
