Which one to purchase? iPhone 5, HTC one x, Nokia Lumia 920 or Samsung Galaxy Note 2?
Already have the one x, I'll wait for the next generation. If I had to pick between these choices it wil be the iPhone 5 for the following reasons:- best audio quality - high quality construction- high quality apps- best performance- most accurate color reproduction

U won't find micro HDMI port in most android phones except the xperias.so it's advantage xperia.if u want a removable battery then none of above mentioned htc devices will cut it for u since neither one of them have a removable battery.one x n one s also don't support micro sd cards.so that takes every htc phone out of contention acc to ur requirements. Now xperia s has dual core s3 cpu.it has removable battery but no micro sd card though 32 gb internal memory should be enough for u.xperia sola,u r a bit lowend devices so i wouldn't recommend those against the highend ones. I think a better option would be to go with samsung galaxy s3.it has sd card slot,removable battery ,usb that can double as tv out via a MHL cable. The international version of gs3 has quad core cpu n if u live in the US it has dual core 1.5 ghz s4 cpu with LTE and comes with all 4 major carriers there.
Why would you choose the HTC One XL over Samsung Galaxy SIII?
Because it looks better. I have the One X which is the international version, it's quad-core but has no 4G. The battery life isn't too good but besides that it's better than the GS3.Technically, the GS3 had 50% less pixels than the One X because it uses the pentile subpixel structure, but the screen is a bit larger so it isn't as detailed.Most of the features, including 4G simply have mo meaning to me, 3G is fast enough and expensive enough it's not like I have to stream videos non-stop.

I would suggest either the Nexus 6 or the Moto X for most people.Nowadays, phones are pretty good all around, and the most important thing for the average consumer, in my opinion, is that the phone works without bugs. You want to minimize the time you spend yelling at your phone.Samsung and HTC mess with Android and introduce bugs to the devices. I've seen a number of Samsung/HTC specific bugs as an Android developer, and experienced them as an owner of a S3 and a S5. If there's a bug affecting the device, you're also more likely to get a fix with stock Android rather than waiting for Samsung or HTC to release an update.If you're more okay with spending time debugging the device, you should go to a store and see which you prefer. For me, the biggest thing I can notice after the level of bugginess is the camera quality since I use my smartphone as my primary camera, so I'd test some photos in the store.
Iphone 5 Vs Nokia Lumia 920 which is better?
Well, please dont give me links where the comparisons are given, i want to get a new phone and ultimately leave android and choose a different phone running a different os. I currently own galaxy note, im bored with the phone. I saw the lumia 920 ad and iphone 5. I just have no idea which one to buy. I went to have a look at 920 in the dealer store, it looked good and had a lot of features. But i found out that iphone is also a match for it. I cant decide which to buy..... Pls help. Thanks

Horrible iPhone 5 Battery Life?
You need to go back to you're provider and ask them to deal with this before you're locked in. (Usually 14 days with a max of talk time.) My husband just got one and his drains about 85% of battery using it for a few short calls and a few texts in about 8 hours. (so %15 battery remaining before the work day is over) He has wifi off, bluetooth off and GPS off. After lots of googling we understand there may be a bug in iOS6.0.2 relating to battery use under some conditions (which therefore could be fixed soon). We also have read that on occasion a phone ships with a defective battery. Tomorrow we are going back to see what the store can do. If there is some magic setting we haven't found yet, I'll update this post here. He was used to charging his blackberry with similar usage every 3 or 4 days! So having to charge overnight + twice a day is a big shock.
What is better between these three phones?
LG Optimus One. My brother has this phone and it's a pretty good phone. It works a lot better than the Xperia X8 and runs on a newer version of Android (X8 runs on Android 2.1 Eclair and Optimus One runs on Android 2.2 Froyo with the ability to update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread soon). The Optimus One is also a lot faster than the Xperia X8. The main reason why Sam W said LG phones are bad is because the ones he experienced were those running on LG's own platform and can be quite buggy. The LG Optimus One is currently considered as LG's best selling phone with a lot of people satisfied with it. It's not every LG phones that have problems... My mother's LG Shine (which is 3 years old) still works perfectly (even after dropping it a lot)...
