Have You Avoid Doing Certain Thing Today Because Of Fear Sachin Might Get Out

Why is Kohli not treated like Sachin amongst fans even though he's scoring centuries like him?

Independence Cup final, Dhaka 1998.Pakistan scored 314 (considered as a huge score back then) batting first. It was Ramzan. During the innings break, I finished my zohar Namaz and prayed to God for an Indian win (you can call me stupid, naive or whatever, but I have prayed a lot for India's victory during that era).Now.. it’s time for the chase to begin. All five of us are right in front of the TV waiting with bated breath to see India's chase. Deep down all of us know we might lose, since Pakistan has a deadly bowling attack. The only chance we have is when this one particular guy fires. If he fires, we all know anything can be chased. Any bowler can be tamed. Any opposition can be humbled. You guessed it right. That guy was Sachin Tendulkar. The chase begins. Sachin is timing the ball beautifully. Four. All of us cheer. One more four. We cheer again. Nerves are settling. But then the power goes! Everyone is frustrated. Everyone is frantically looking in the neighbourhood for a 12V DC battery compatible with 14″ B&W AT&T TV.We find that the neighbour has arranged the battery. All of us run there without caring about what they will think of us. The place is already jam packed. We settle down again.Sachin comes down the track and smashes over the bowler's head for six. We shout. Everone else in our locality becomes happy knowing Sachin must have hit a six. Crackers burst. Its jubilations already.Unfortunately, Sachin mistimes a charge down the track and gets caught. A big hush, followed by choicest of abuses for the involved Pakistani players. Faces turn pale and no one says a word. People immediately start leaving the jam packed place. Out of frustration and anger, the neighbour switches off TV and says “ab battery hi waste hogi” (the battery's wasted now).Trust me, during that 26-ball 41, the whole country had come to a standstill.Have you ever experienced this during any of Virat's innings? You know the answer.Sachin was not only a player, an athelete or cricketer, he was hope, emotion, love and the binding force for 100 Crore Indians back then.Virat may go on to become the greatest cricketer in terms of records and I wish him all the best, but he will never be an emotion. What is so great about Sachin Tendulkar?

I consider him great not only because he was a marvellous cricketer and one the best players of his time but also for his acts outside that 22 yard pitch. The amalgumation of both of his on field and off-field works made him great. One such act is mentioned below -December 2010, A news ran across the media that Sachin is getting the highest paid commercial advertisement (till that time for a cricketer) by a company. the offer, a one-year contract, was much higher than what was offered to MS Dhoni by Vijay Mallya's UB group which was worth 26 crores for three years. According to TOI sources, Sachin was offered as much as 20 crores for one year. But surprisingly, he turned down the contemporarily most expensive commercial proposal. And the reason was really a matter of pride for every Tendulkar fan.He turned down that proposal because it was made by a liquor Company who wants Sachin to Advertise alcohol. According to a former player, this maestro refused it because he was living up the promise he made to his father Late Ramesh Tendulkar many years ago.“His father had advised him against endorsing alcohol-related or tobacco products soon after he had made the Indian Test team Anyways, money can never lure Tendulkar and this offer is a classic example of how he believes in his principles and values” said the player who once led India to a famous win under Sachin. This is Sachin Tendulkar for you. He didn't compromise with his values and refused the proposal. Although the next Superstar of Indian Cricket signed a similar advertisement to promote liquor. I will not tell his name here otherwise you will understand that I am talking about M.S. Dhoni.Being a roll model, don't do anything which will take your admirers to wrong pathThanks for scrolling down!Sources - 1. Tendulkar turns down record liquor endorsement offer - Times of India ►2. Should I call my ex for his birthday?

I don't think you should call him if you two aren't good friends! Texting a happy birthday is a different matter though! It all depends on how the relationship ended! If you broke up with him recently, texting him a short happy birthday could be taken as peace offering. Then again he might still be a bit sensitive so it all depends on how you think he would take it! If he broke up with you, then it's probably not the best idea to text him, unless of course you are friends. If he has reached out to you since the breakup in a friendly way, there is no reason why you shouldn't say happy birthday. Hope this helps! :)

How do you stop panic attacks?

If you expect panic attacks... they will come. That is how you develop a panic disorder.

YOU DON'T NEED A THERAPIST!

I had severe panic attacks for many months that would happen every night. I never went to the doctor because I don't believe in going to the doctor for that kind of stuff. (Don't think my attacks weren't bad just because I didn't need to go to the doctor) I just learned to explain them away to myself. I told myself that it was just symptoms and that they couldn't really hurt me. If you get all upset you are just fueling the panic attack.

Don't listen to any one who says you can't!

It is perfectly normal to be depressed sometimes, it's normal to not be happy everyday, You don't need a pill for every thing, happiness is promised to no one. LIVE MEDICATION FREE!!!

I DID IT! BY MYSELF I DID!!!

ANXIETY IS NOT A DISEASE, NEITHER IS DEPRESSION!!!! If you call it a disease that just means you take the power from your self and hand it over to a pill or a doctor. You can beat this by your self.

What kind of people will not succeed in life?

Those who think a lot. Those who plan a lot. Those who live in past. Those who avoid present and build castle in air. Those who think they have time. Those who think NO WORRY NEXT TIME.Those who don't dare to dream big. Those who don't dare to explain. Those who don't clear their doubt. Those who TALK the TALK but don't WALK the TALK.Those who think stay nice all the time. Those who stuck on to something and don't know to move on.You are living to the same place from years.Continuing your job even you don't want to work there for a second.Staying in a relationship which causing more pain than pleasure.Working things to impress others.Thinking about a person day and night instead focusing on carrier.Checking phone every five minutes to see whether she or he is online or what.Checking out each and every girls on street.Day dreaming but doing nothing.Staying in bed even after you wake up.Loving someone and expecting the same in return. And if things are not going as per your expectation then blaming whole world. You think if you can do this after 50s then you ask from from your future wife, you can do or not and then you will realize how pathetic you will become in coming years. You have no purpose. You are constantly blaming other people and circumstances for your condition.Getting offended by everyone's opinion about you.Getting into argument even if it is no where related to your life.Talking about masterbation and discussing whether it's good or bad.Doing things to garner sympathy and attention.Your very ownSachinJai Hind

Examples of rulers/religious figures taking advantage of followers for their own personal wealth?

I'm doing a research paper on how religious coercion has been used for greed and dominance, and one of the topics I'm covering is how followers' loyalty to their religion has been taken advantage of by those in power in order to gain wealth. The only *scholarly* sources I have been able to find on my own thus far are about the Catholic Church's sale of Indulgences and Buddhist monks keeping gifts for themselves. I'm having trouble thinking of other things to try to search for.

Any ideas? (And this is for all religions, not just the big 3 monotheistic faiths)
Thanks in advance!
