Have You Ever Got Owned

Have you ever owned a super car?

“Have you ever owned a super car?“I currently own a 2004 Acura NSX. I do not happen to consider it a supercar. It is an awesome sports car. But it does not have the exclusivity/rarity nor power to qualify as a supercar. I believe the new NSX does qualify, but I cannot afford one.-Doug

What is the worst vehicle you have ever owned?

Our first brand new car... a 1976 Buick Regal Brougham. We special ordered it because they didn't have exactly what we wanted on the lot. What they thought we wanted was a total piece of garbage. We didn't make it home from the dealer because it ran out of gas (gauge didn't work). In the first month,... the right front and both rear tires (three out of four!), wore down so badly, we had to have them replaced. The dealer told us that it was a 'tire' problem, so we would have to go somewhere that represented that brand. We did so, and they proceeded to show us that the three tires, in question, AND the spare had defective rims (that certainly explained why the car 'waddled' down the road). Rims are two pieces welded together, and these looked like they had the welding started before they were pressed together. They were a 1/4" wider in some spots. After a little debate, the dealer offered to replace the rims. The tire company said the tires were not covered, because of the bad rims.... the clock quit working. I don't even want to go into what it took to get the clock back from the dealer, and into the hole in the dash. Suffice to say, the clock still didn't work. ... the alternator quit (replaced EIGHT times in six years). In the first six months, ... the starter quit (replaced SIX times in six years).... the water pump quit (replaced three times in six years).... the dash developed a crack from the drivers' side to midway on the passenger side, across the top. The dealer said they would replace it, but did we really want to do that? It would mean removing every piece of equipment and gauge, and then replacing them. "So many things could go wrong". Plus they would have to 'color' it to match the rest of the interior, and they couldn't guarantee a good match. ... the flywheel broke into THREE pieces. The FLYWHEEL! On an automatic transmission! In the first year, ... the landau started showing lumps... turned out to be rust. The dealer said that rust, under a landau wasn't covered. The window sticker said the car would get 16mpg in the city, and 18mpg on the highway. It only came close to that when it was being towed (we got to know the tow-truck driver, and his family, very well. I am sure (cough) that Buick makes very good cars, but I will not own another one. Oh, did I mention the electric seats and windows issues... never mind.

How many dogs have you ever owned?

In my entire life, I’ve had six dogs. Six beautiful, wonderful dachshunds. The first one my family ever got was sweet Noel.A few years before I was born, my older sister was having some trouble in geometry and had to get a tutor. The tutor had recently adopted a dachshund and upon spending time with the little guy, my sister fell in love with the breed. It wasn’t long before she convinced our parents to adopt our very first dachshund - one of the best decisions we’d ever make.Noel passed away almost a decade ago now - I can hardly believe it. Rest in peace, my sweet Noel. The second dachshund we adopted was Scout. We got him around the time I was two - so double the potty-training.Sadly, Scout was teased a lot when he was a puppy, so he’s very protective of any food (his, or even some random plate on the counter) and will bite if provoked. Fortunately, he’s gotten better with age.Scout’s quite vocal. The third was Trooper.Trooper is, hands down, our craziest dog. Though sweet and downright adorable, even an 8 year-old on a sugar high couldn’t keep up with him.He has one true love: food. Our fourth dog was Boomer.Boomer’s about the mellowest thing you’ll ever meet. He sleeps all day, eats a little, then conks out for the night, exhausted from his exertion. The cutest thing about him is that he makes these little grunts when he’s happy that we call “love sounds.”He’s a strange little guy.He does this more often than you’d think. The fifth dog was Bandit.Bandit… how do I describe him……well, I guess his name kind of tells all.“I didn’t do it.”Bandit is my first personal dog - the rest are what you’d call family pets. However, my little Bandit has some anxiety issues, and he panics when he’s not around me. My parents call him my shadow since he’s always trailing behind, watching and making sure I’m not going anywhere.Currently, he’s snuggled up in my blankets next to me. I can feel him breathing against my side right now.Our sixth, and last dog, was Coby.Coby’s adorable, as you can already see, and he knows it.“Love me.”He’s well-behaved, a sweetheart, and friendly to both humans and dogs. The only bad thing I can think about him right now is his bark. It’s been described as a dying rat.PHEW, all done! If we get anymore dogs, I’ll update this answer, but for now, I’m pretty sure we have all we can handle.Kudos if you can figure out who’s who.

Have you ever seen an over smart individual who got owned for his over smartness?

No. But I have seen many smart individual who let others think that they own them. There are also many examples in movies. The mentality of owning someone is not healthy because individual who thinks that way would feel being owned when sick or weak, which is exact opposite of inner-freedom and mental health. And poses risks to lots of ailments such as self-esteem, depression , mania suicide etc.Nobody can own anybody in reality, it is only possible if individual associate some negative feelings of weakness, helplessness and hopelessness to such perpective * and freuently induce his psychology to experience dominant or rececive role (part) of this perspective.Or positive side of things.* The real (owning - pawnage) is to have skills, energy to craft , mental freedom to create and compassion to care others, wisdom to simply be and go on. Which leads to extreme freedom and competence and thus naturally followed by others. Thus person becomes happy energetic serene and a natural leader. Please try to own-pawn such good qualities and change your perspective and perception if needed.
