Have you ever been in a car accident?
I have. it was very bad. I was in a chevy, was hit by a 10-wheeled dump truck. I was passenger. the car was totaled - when people came to help in the wreck they only saw my mom at first and it wasn't until they pried her out that they found me underneath. everyone thinks she tried to protect me because the car hit the passenger side, not the driver. she should have made it. I was 12 ...she was declared officially dead the next day and I was in a coma for almost 3 months. I had to learn to walk and talk again and stuff but I'm ok now. it's been almost 5 years since
Have you ever had an accident?
This isn’t as much an accident but more of a story but anyway soone day I was at a dance audition there were about 40 of us and only 6 would get through. On the day of the auditions I had forgotten my dance shoes at home but it didn’t stop me, I was also on my period like really heavy and then on one of the exercises we did I pulled a muscle in my leg.despite all that I kept going and ended up getting in the show and being one of the 6 dancers. It just shows that when you want something a lot it doesn’t matter if you’ve been injured cause nothing can hold you back :)
Have you ever had an bike accident;?
A few. Got hit by a car a couple times. The first one was in 1984. Lady was distracted by her kid who wasn't in a car seat and she nailed me. Bike and car were both totaled. I was "lucky"; no broken bones, but spent a week in the hospital with a concussion and lots of cuts and lacerations. They stopped counting the number of stitches and I still have a huge scar on my back. The second one wasn't so bad. A guy in a van came a little too close and whacked me with his side view mirror and sent me and the bike flying. No damage to the bike, just some nasty road rash on my leg. Some other minor accidents were someone walking out from between two parked cars right into my path; a guy making a right turn in front of me and cutting me off. One time, I rode a little too close to the edge of the road and my front wheel clipped the curb. I went right down and landed on the handlebars. I might have fractured a rib; I never got it checked out, but I was in some serious discomfort for several weeks. Helmet has saved me many times. And after all this, I'm still riding......
Ever had to pee so bad you had an accident?
Earlier this week after having been out shopping with my sister I drank a large cup of tea and a bottle of water. On our way home I had to pee very bad but there were no bathrooms around so I had to hold it until we got home. We were only 2 blocks from our house when I just couldn't hold it anymore and totally peed my jeans! I had to walk to our house with my jeans wet to the ankles accompanied by the sloshing sound of my shoes. It was sooo embarrassing! Luckily I don't think anybody saw me except for my sister who couldn't stop laughing. I am 22 years old and can't believe what happened to me. Has anybody else peed their pants as an adult? I know I'm not alone since I once saw a girl in her twenties pee her pants in the line to the toilet back home in Korea. I remember feeling so sorry for her. Now I want to hear your stories. Has something similar happened to anyone else?
Have you ever been in a car accident? how bad?
I have been in several car accidents. The first one I was 15. My ex-boyfriend and I got rear ended in his mom's brand new car.We got whiplash and our parents wouldn't let us sue the guy that hit us.When I was 17 , I hit 60 feet of fence ,a tree, and landed on a granite post 10 feet from some lady's living room window.I didn't get hurt bad but the next day my mom made me go knock on the lady's door and apologize for destroying her front yard which was worse than the accident.When I was 19 I hit a telephone pole doing 70 mph.This one hurt the most. I had 9 broken ribs , collapsed lungs , a broken clavicle and scapula, and I split my knee wide open and needed 80 stitches.
Have you ever had an accident with a cop car?
I’ve had two. Both were due to icy conditions.One was when I was a rookie. I was driving the chief’s car when a medical call came in for a young lady who was thrown off a car hood that was being drug in the snow in their pasture by a Polaris side-by-side. The ambulance wouldn’t go up their long driveway that was up-and-down. I made it in there with my patrol car, and we ended up loading the girl on a backboard into the back of their four-wheel-drive pickup and taking her to the ambulance waiting on the road. As I cleared the call and started to leave, I started sliding down the ice on the driveway, and the car slipped right in to the ditch. The owner pulled me out with his tractor, and there was minimal damage. However, it was the chief’s car, and the most I got out of it after writing the “Dear Chief” letter was a little ribbing.Fast forward a few years later where I was an elected law enforcement officer. I was responding to a car accident, and I could tell you the exact spot on that state highway where TXDoT stopped salting the roadway. I wasn’t driving all that fast, but police pursuit tires are purpose built for… well… pursuit. They are NOT “all-weather” tires. I started sliding on the slush, and I took out a road sign. The impact was right on my “B” post, and it was enough to warrant me getting a new patrol car.I hate icy road conditions.
