Have You Ever Had An Extremely Rude Encounter With Another User Here

Has anyone ever had a bad, or rude celebrity encounter?

I haven't but my husband has....
He was taking a karate class in South Carolina and Chuck Norris was invited to the class as a guest instructor. Norris asked if anyone would care to step up and spar with him, and like THE DINGLE-BERRY DUMB-*** he is, my husband, in a moment of sheer stupidity said he would. Well he goes up to Chuck Norris, they do they're bow and then Tony, my husband, kicks Chuck Norris right in the face. And before Tony had a chance to even realize what he'd done, Norris layed him out. And I mean LAYED HIM OUT!!!!! Tony said the last thing he remembers is seeing that big foot coming at him at what seemed like light speed and then looking up at the ceiling.
True Story, no joke!
Is my man not a big DUMB goof-ball or what?
And what made it worse, when Tony returned back to the class, the next day, the instructor conned Tony into sparring with his 9 year old daughter and she wopped his butt, too!
LMAO
But in his defense the little had been taking Karate since she was about 3 or 4 so, she was way more advanced than him, and in so many ways, lol!

What's the rudest city/country that you've ever been to?

I will have to give the crown to London (pun very much intended). I am not exactly sure if it's the weather or the economy that makes people snap in just a second. Here I am talking about the flight attendants I encountered on British airways to the local customer care. They all seemed to have their heads hanging in the air. Bear with me while I explain how.1. British airways: I am a vegetarian and due to the third party booking I was unable to select my meal. At the aiport I was asked to request the air hostess separately. When I did they not only refused they outright raised their voice on me. Of course I won't have service people shout at me for no reason but I tried explaining them about the booking issue. After I got furious (it was a 13 hours flight), they came back with a vegan tray commenting that I should check properly when I book my tickets. Even when I was leaving the flight the same guy who had served me food made a passing remark in a very mocking tone "check your ticket else even vegan won't be available next time".2. Now comes the general public.we all know how crowded the subways are. As I have the habit of getting up in wrong trains frequently I decided to cross check with the subway ticket lady.oh boy she literally snarled at me. And I state her words "mam can't you read . Check back." I just said no I am a confused traveler , to which she said "then you shouldn't be here" and she refused to answer my query.Needless to say I wanted to ask these rude people if they are still living in 1946. Anyway I did meet some warm and wonderful people too.  But I never  encountered people in public services to be this cold.

What are the different types of rude encounters you've experienced on Quora?

Had one guy, a pretty popular Quoran, try to tell me factory farms are ok because chickens are basically walking, clucking automatons with no emotions or sense of pain.Anyone who’s seen a few of my answers about my pet chooks might guess this is a hot button issue for me.When I pointed out the evidence in studies like these:Thinking chickens: a review of cognition, emotion, and behavior in the domestic chickenThe Social Life of ChickensThe World According to Intelligent and Emotional ChickensHe told me I was being emotional, mixed in a few more personal insults, and repeated the spiel about chickens being too dumb to feel pain. (I’d have liked to test whether this man was too dumb to feel pain, but I recognize that that is uncivilized behavior.)Ok dude.I went ahead and blocked him, I was that mad. I mean really? “Too dumb to feel pain,” that’s your excuse? To clarify, I’m a meat eater myself but I still think the way animals are treated in factory farms is unacceptable.Picture this baby growing up like that. (Also shoutout to my mom.)There was also the guy who tried to convince me women should “respect” men for their ability to “physically dominate women,” the way we respect convicted pedophiles by not sending little kids into their jail cells (aka we should fear men). Not kidding. He literally thought an analogy with pedophiles was a good idea.It was my first and only interaction with a misogynist, ever, and it was almost comically stereotypical. Too ridiculous to be truly offensive. He called me some names, he threw a little tantrum…boohoo.Yah, ok. Also blocked. But the “too dumb to feel pain” guy made me a lot angrier.Other than that, my Quora experience has been lovely.

Have you ever experienced rude customer service? What happened and did you report the customer assistant?

A2A:The rudest thing I have ever experienced was when I went on a coastal holiday with my partner and daughter. So in England we have our capital and main cities which are very diverse and multicultural, however the further away you get the more closed minded and old fashioned some people become. We had gone down to the beautiful South Coast and gone into this little shoe shop. My daughter had taken her first steps so we decided to get her some proper little shoes. We enter the shop and there is one woman behind the counter. We smile and say hello. She gave us such a look of pure disgust, I could almost physically feel it.She said not one word to us. Just watched us the whole time we were there. We chose some shoes and when we got to the counter I asked how much for them. She pointed to the total on the til and held out her hand.I should point out here that my partner is black and our daughter mixed. We are not people to use the ‘race card' but this was definitely the issue here.I looked down at her hand then up at her.Me: ‘Really? Your not going to say one word to me?’Her: ‘It ain't right. You should stick to your own kind’.Me: ‘ that’s a very 1920s mentality you have there. I don't suppose women should vote either? We will leave the shoes thanks’.We just walked out. I was really angry but some people have such an ingrained mindset nothing you could say will change their view. I felt sorry for her in fact.It put a bit if a dampener on our day but luckily my daughter was small at the time and didn't understand. We enjoyed the rest of our holiday but we decided we probably wouldn't visit that particular location again.

Have you ever met a celebrity that was rude to you?

Jane Seymour was rude to me at a coffee shop in Studio City California. I was fired as a result so I wished I had called her a lot of names. She is a STUCK UP and self centered even though she is a mother. I will NEVER see her movies or stuff she is in.
