Have You Ever Seen This On A Tv Series Or On A Movie Before

What movie, TV show, or etc. used the song "Never Knew Love Like This Before" in their soundtrack?

Just heard this song on youtube and it brought up such a nostalgic feeling. I know I heard this song at some point as a child, when I was feeling happy. Most of the time that means I was watching a great movie, TV show, etc. I've been racking my brain trying to figure it out, but I cannot remember. So please, if anyone remember, or knows; could you please let me know.

Here's the link to the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmtQvqRK6oE

I've already tried searching it online, but nothing familiar seemed to turn up. You all might be better at searching the web than me, so give it a go if you have time.

Iranian TV Series on Saint Mary. Have you seen it? And what do you think of it?

Why do people rewatch series/movies? I don’t get what the point of rewatching something is.

It’s like revisiting a place you’ve been before, or going to visit a friend or group of friends. It’s satisfying to visit something you like and want to remember. Re-watching is also re-experiencing and that can be very satisfying. For instance, I’ve watched LOTR, all three, at least 50 times. I like that world, enjoy the story, the characters the excitement. And the movie Lake Placid, silly as it is, cracks me up and I love to watch the characters banter and get snarky with each other, hunting a big unrealistic croc. Or the movie Independence Day, and The Day After Tomorrow - watched them easy 15 times - it’s entertaining.Anything that you like to experience can be done again, and again, and again. You have a meal that’s just great, you may want to eat it again. You get a pair of pants you like, you’ll buy them again. We repeat ourselves when something pleases us. And even though we may know an outcome to a story, it’s the story and the characters that we enjoy. If you want real serious re-watchers, find someone who’s been to see Rocky Horror Picture Show - I’ve known fans who’ve been over 100 times.

Have you ever predicted the plot of a movie or TV show before you saw it? If so, what was it?

I love movie and TV mysteries, but the problem is many of them follow a formula and eventually you can predict the ending before you even see it. Sometimes you can read the synopsis in the channel guide and know what’s going to happen in surprising detail. Two specific shows came to mind with this question. If you are old enough to remember “Banacek” starring George Peppard and “Ellery Queen” starring Jim Hutton, both from the mid-70’s.I found Banacek to be very formulaic and quite predictable. He was a freelance insurance investigator who specialized in stolen goods. After a few episodes, it was usually easy to identify the bad guy and even predict how he would solve the case. Oh there was a couple with the mcguffin that would appear very late in the show to turn things around, but usually it was pretty predictable. Once my sister described the set-up and then got mad when I told her how it was done without ever seeing the episode (the football player who disappeared while on the field). Many of the detective shows follow a similar formula, including the mcguffin. Now Ellery Queen was different. yes, it was a formula, but every piece was laid out in plain sight and it was much harder to predict. While you knew the basic formula which included the ending — almost always done by bringing everyone together like “The Thin Man”, it was always much harder to predict. Which is why I much preferred that show, too bad it ran only one season.

What is the most memorable movie or TV wedding you have seen before?

I love the scene in “Love Actually” where various musicians are placed throughout the pews amidst the wedding guests. At the end of the ceremony, the balcony curtains part and a full chorus begin singing, “All you need is Love,” and one by one the musicians among the guests rise and play their instruments during the number. It’s really a delightful scene and Keira Knightly is just so adorable as the bride!
