Have you ever met a celebrity?
Define "meet" I've seen a lot, not all of them personally talked to. All of the Sum 41 members, personally talked to them. Drew Barrymoore, said some things and that was it. Avril Lavigne, I just said hi and smiled and she said hi and smiled (I am in love with Avril Lavigne.) Tim Allen, sort of, I was in the same line as him at an AM/PM, but he was somewhat disguised with glasses and a hat, didn't stop people from recognizing him. Mark Wahlberg took our ketchup at a Denny's. Reese Witherspoon, she was shopping at South Coast Plaza. Most of WWE's roster, including Randy Savage. I think there was a couple more but I honestly can't remember, going to a lot of places in the Hollywood/L.A. area, it's pretty common to meet famous people.

Do celebrities ever make friends with their fans?
I doubt it- they don't care about us do they- they are celebs. Paris Hilton does. But they don't really like her do they. They like her money. I've met celebs before and they just smile and wave and you turn around and they are like when is this gonna be over. I think celebrities that come across as down to earth e.g Coleen Rooney, Alexandra Burke, Fearne Cotton, Lily Allen could possibly be different but the rest of them. No way!
Have you ever met a celebrity that was rude to you?
Jane Seymour was rude to me at a coffee shop in Studio City California. I was fired as a result so I wished I had called her a lot of names. She is a STUCK UP and self centered even though she is a mother. I will NEVER see her movies or stuff she is in.
Who is the rudest celebrity you have ever met?
i've heard will ferrell is a real ***. i was watching this interview for blades of glory and he called the interviewer a dipshit hahaha and he was pissed and totally serious. he also refuses to give out autographs. i think he was votest like rudest celeb to ask for an autograph
Is it bad to be this obsessed with a celebrity? Were you ever this obsessed?
My friend is obsessed with this musician/actor. She talks about him all the time (EVERYDAY!), Googles him a couple times and day and owns every CD he made. She also rents every movie he's in and she said she wants to watch them all over the summer. Also, she watches a ton of interviews and fan videos on youtube and she entered a contest to win a picture of him. Also, she even signed up on a fan website and reads all the things people post about him/look at pictures. She even talks about what he wore to events and asks why he wore this here and wore this there. Her dad says she is "worshiping" him (figuratively). And he makes fun of her because he thinks that's not being an adult and he thinks that she sits at home and does nothing all day, but every time I see her, she's cleaning the house, doing dishes etc. She is 15. Is it bad to be this obsessed?

Celebrities get huge amounts of fan mail, most of which they cannot even read.More important, how do you know you want to become close friends with them? You think what you see in the media is who they are? BIG mistake. All of us have different sides to our personalities. There’s the fun, happy-go-lucky side and the go-away-leave-me-alone side. We all have flaws and we all display them from time to to. We all have who we want to be and who we usually are. Or sometimes are.My point is, you do not know these people. You only know their public personas. I’m a singer and I can get the audience in the palm of my hand. They love me! But they don’t like me. They can’t, they don’t know me well enough. But they are sure they do! They are wrong. So are you.Yeah, I know, you’re aware everyone has their not-so-fun side. But right now, it’s just an abstract thought. You imagine them getting angry, but for very good reasons. In your mind, that’s how it is for all the faults you can imagine them having. I’ll say it again: You’re wrong.You are in love with the image of these stars. You do not know who they are. So, why would you want to become friends with them?You’d like the prestige that would give you, right? You’re probably saying no, but I’m pretty sure I’m right, and you did ask for my opinion. You hear stories of fans becoming close friends and you think why not you? Because the reason you hear about those stories is that they are so ridiculously rare. And if you approach them with the idea of becoming close friends, they’ll smell it a mile away and have nothing to do with you.I should also add, I know enough celebrities to know whereof I speak.
