Have You Ever Went To A Concert With Very Low Expectations And Ended Up Being Blown Away

I need world war 1 information by November 2 2007?

World War I, also known as the First World War, the Great War and the War To End All Wars, was a global military conflict which took place primarily in Europe from 1914 to 1918. Over 40 million casualties resulted, including approximately 20 million military and civilian deaths. The conflict had a decisive impact on the history of the 20th century.

The Entente Powers, led by France, Russia, the United Kingdom and its colonies and dominions, and later Italy (from 1915) and the United States (from 1917), defeated the Central Powers, led by the Austro-Hungarian, German, and Ottoman Empires. Russia withdrew from the war after the revolution in 1917.

The fighting that took place along the Western Front occurred along a system of trenches, breastworks, and fortifications separated by an area known as no man's land.[2] These fortifications stretched 475 miles (more than 600 kilometres)[2] and defined the war for many. On the Eastern Front, the vast eastern plains and limited rail network prevented a trench warfare stalemate, though the scale of the conflict was just as large as on the Western Front. The Middle Eastern Front and the Italian Front also saw heavy fighting, while hostilities also occurred at sea, and for the first time, in the air.

The war caused the disintegration of four empires: the Austro-Hungarian, German, Ottoman and Russian. Germany lost its colonial empire and states such as Czechoslovakia, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Yugoslavia gained independence. The cost of waging the war set the stage for the breakup of the British Empire as well and left France devastated for more than a generation.

World War I marked the end of the world order which had existed after the Napoleonic Wars, and was an important factor in the outbreak of World War II.

What was the first concert you went to? What was the experience like? Any tips?

I have been to so many concerts I have lost count. The first concert I attended was Mitchel Musso. It was great I had so much fun there. As you are going to your first concert you must be excited about having the best time of your life. You would be wanting to know some First Concert Tips to Know Before Attending. And I am sure there will be many questions in your mind about how to prepare for my first concert. Like, what should you be wearing? What time should you be arriving? What would the crowd be like?So let me answer some of your questions:What should I be wearing for my first concert? The answer to this question depends on the type of music you are going to see. Especially for women don’t think to look cutest of all. You should be wearing something you are comfortable in.Is it rude to go to the front of the crowd? This question has been a long debated one in the concert-going community.A few people wait for hours before a show to be in the first row. Indeed, it is not right to push forward at an effectively sold out show. Moreover, if you are careful about moving up when little gaps of space appear on the floor, your turn soon will come and you will naturally be dragged to the front spot. What time should I be getting to the concert? Now it depends on you and the number of openers a show has. If you are interested in seeing those performances then you should go earlyHow to get there? Where should I park? Most of the time, venues have all the information regarding there route and parking on their website and sometimes also on tickets. Other than that you can also Google some parking garages nearby or have the best rates. If you want more convenience for you then you can call the venue and ask them about their parking or parking near there ticket entrance. If you are wondering what to bring or not bring to a concert, so here is the Concert Checklist: What to Bring & What not to bring. I hope it will be helpful for you.Have the best time of your lifeBest RegardsConcert LaneFollow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram

Have you ever seen a famous musician perform so poorly that you felt ripped off?

I have to say the experience that stays with me most clearly involves one of the most famous concerts ever given, and the group labeled “the greatest rock & roll band in the world.”I was 15 at Woodstock, sitting thru drenching rain, slogging thru glue-like mud and then baking under a blazing sun. Like most participants, I had no idea of how legendary the event would become, nor that such moments in music, and history, and in my life would be so rare.Saturday night included off and on torrents of rain, with appropriate concerns about musicians getting electrocuted from the drenched equipment inadequately protected from the rain. But things had cleared up and dried off. Sly and the Family Stone had rocked the stage and the hillside with an incredible set. Then Chip Munk introduced “The Greatest Rock & Roll Band in the World.” It was the Grateful Dead. I had heard of them, but had not actually heard their music. I was psyched! They started to play, and were terrible! Jaw-dropping awful — out of sync with each other, off-key and unable to get thru songs they had played countless times. After ten minutes or so, they stopped completely. Jerry Garcia said, “Hey, man. We’re just going to stop and get our shit together for a minute.” Then, as half a million people sat on a hillside of mud in the middle of the night, the Grateful Dead sat cross-legged in a circle on the stage and talked with each other. For 45 minutes! When they finally got back on their feet and playing, they did not sound much better. It turned out they were collectively and individually so high, they could not play to save their lives. While not feeling “ripped off” — how could anybody that got to go to Woodstock end up feeling they did not get their money’s worth — I did feel that on that night, the Dead hardly lived to the title of “Greatest.”

What movie(s) did you willingly pay to watch at least twice in the cinema?

Glancing through the previous answers I'm surprised there aren't more that mention the Lord of the Rings movies. I saw all three of them multiple times, and stood in lines to see them early in the run. I saw all of the original Star Wars movies at least twice, since we stood in line to see them again when they were re-released in the 90's.That's probably a bit of a boring answer, though, so I'll include one that might be more amusing: Footloose I was a senior in high school when it came out, and my friends and I ended up going to see it 4 times, culminating with our visit to the theater on Senior Cut Day, 1984. We went to the theater AFTER spending the whole day on the beach in Santa Cruz and I almost passed out while standing in the air-conditioned lobby, due to a really bad sunburn I'd just gotten (we were not nearly as careful back then about sunburns as we should have been).
