Can an 18-year-old date a 21-year-old?
Yes it's possible and happening around. Well you see, he/she who's 21 will be a little mature than the 18 year old, the selection of tastes and preferences as well as priorities will be a little different, I am not emphasizing the word “Little” but you need to think about everything, if you know that 21 year old completely then there's no issue, but would that 21 year old knows you? Disputes can occur relating to different thoughts and mindset. But I don't think a 18 year old is vulnerable. Maturity doesn't always comes with the age.So hey 18 year old and 21 year oldie, you guys can make a great pair, odd numbers, as you know. So have fun, life's too short to worry about age, when we could fit together with thoughts.

Is a 20 year old dating a 17 year old wrong?
I am sort of old fashioned when it comes to dating. I am 20 about to be 21 in 2 months. Met a girl, long story short she is 17 hitting 18 in early June. Is it wrong of me to date someone so young? I got to know her and only now found out shes 17. Yes I understand shes a minor so no need for "jail bait" comments. Would you care about the 3 year age difference or? Just curious on others opinions. Im torn between "this isnt right" and the fact that shes pretty cool and we get along great. Thanks

It sounds like your daughter is a well rounded, responsible woman. I admire the fact that she is so open with you about her sex life. That shows she has a lot of trust in you. I say let them be. I honestly think girls are more mature than boys at that age. Personally I think younger girls do well with older boys. Men take so long to mature. LOL. Their relationship is not illegal. My husband is about 5 years older than me and I have been with him since I was 15 (I'm now 27). So family, friends etc. need to mind their own business. Parents, would you let your 14 yr old have sex w/ someone who is 18 (17 the first time they had sex)?
I live in the U.S. Wisconsin and the legal age of consent here is 18. I have a friend whose older sister is 14 (will be 15 in August i believe). She's dating an 18 yr old (just turned 18 recently). Anyway, apparently the first time they had sex was the 10th of March and my friend it lasted about 10 seconds (not that that's important...) any way, she said he was 17 at the time. i think my friend's sister went to the gyno to get on birth control. Its a good thing she's on BC. I honestly don't think she should be having sex at 14. Nor should she be dating someone 3-4 yrs older than her. At least I wouldn't let her if she were my child. i almost think that he just wants to get in her pants... but i've never talked/met him face to face. We talked on the phone once when I was talking w/ my friend. He seems like a nice and funny guy but... you never know... Parents would you let your 14 yr old have sex w/ someone 3-4 yrs. older than them.
Is it illegal for an 18 year old to date a 15 year old in CT?
I turned 18 in September and the girl I'm talking to is 15 turning 16 in May. I can't fully understand CT law of 3 years younger under 16 but over 13. I just want to no if its legal or not.
