Having Some Issues With Google Chrome; It Won

Help with Google Chrome Images Issues?

I'm not 100% sure but I'm thinking you might have the adblock addon and specific 'iframes' are being blocks. Without getting too techy because I don't know all the language, an iframe is basically a holder for images, many of which are from advertisements. If you do have the adblock addon, disable it and reload that webpage. If your images do show up then, you'll need to go into the adblock settings and remove the item(s) that are being blocked.

Why won't my Google Chrome work?

This is an easy one.Click on the tab in the upper right hand corner that lets you go to your Chrome settings.Click on “Settings”.Scroll down to the bottom and click on “Show advanced settings…”.Under “Privacy”, click on “Clear browsing data…”.The following four items should have checkmarks:Clear browsing historyClear downloaded historyDelete cookies and other site and plug-in dataEmpty the cacheClear saved passwordsClear saved Autofill form dataClear data from hosted appsDeauthorize content licensesThe default setting will be to delete the browsing data for the past hour, but if you have had this problem of not being able to use Google Search in Chrome for longer than an hour, you can change the setting of “Obliterate the following items from…” to a longer period. If you are not sure, leave this as “the past hour” for now. If this solution doesn’t work, try increasing this and doing it again.Click on “Clear browsing data”.This should fix it, especially if the problem has just started recently. If it doesn’t do the trick, please say so in the comments.[1]Footnotes[1] Google Search Not Working On Chrome|Tophotlines Steps

What causes the "Aw Snap!" issue in Google Chrome?

You see this error message when a renderer process crashes. Many things can cause this. There are some general things you can try, or you can Report a Crash Bug.

Why isn't Google Chrome playing YouTube videos?

Because Google Chrome is tired of playing videos. Give it some time to breath. :P Just kidding.. I know that was lame. Anyway, it may not be playing videos because of the following reasons:Brower not updated - running an older version of browser that doesn't support flash and html5Adobe flash not installed or updatedBrowser settings has flash and java disabledInternet connection is too slow to load the videos (less likely a scenario, as you somehow managed to post on Quora using the same internet I assume)Graphic driver has crashed (offline videos will also not play, if this happened)So, try to figure out and let me know what the reason was. Also, send a screenshot if problem persists.

Google Chrome won't play Yahoo videos.?

Unfortunately you are not alone in this: http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/rwnmOBjxKHI

Alas, the 'fix' is a double edged sword; you can disable the flash plugins in chrome and your yahoo videos should play fine, but videos from other sites like youtube & hulu won't work unless you re-enable flash.

type in 'chrome://plugins' on your chrome omnibar and disable Adobe Flash Player (2 files) - Version: 11.7.700.179
Shockwave Flash 11.7 r700

This clearly seems to be a yahoo issue, but it doesn't affect all users, in fact I have 2 machines with near identical configurations and it works fine on one, but not the other...

Google Chrome won't open in Mac. How do I fix it?

Create a second user account and see if Chrome works in that other user account.OS X Yosemite: Set up users on your Mac   Don't be afraid of the long instructions.    You just have to open system preferences, go to users and groups, click on the padlock and then click on the plus sign.  The rest is easy.Sign out of your account and then sign into the new one.If Chrome works in the new account,  which it likely will, then the problem is not with the program, but with data that chrome is accessing in your user library.  All of that data lives in /Users/youraccountname/Library/Google/Chrome.If you have isolated the problem to your account...You should log into your account and make sure that Chrome is not open. Pull that folder out of that location and onto your desktop.Open Chrome.  It will probably work now.  You might be missing all of your Bookmarks.  You should be able to find them in that folder you put on the desktop a minute ago and put them into the new Chrome folder that was automatically created when you opened Chrome in ~/Library/Google.

Google chrome won't let me save images. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I right click on an image and click save as but it doesn't save and nothing pops up. Saving works fine on internet explorer though. Is there any way to fix this?

How does I fix this problem? When I am opening Google Chrome some website is continuosly showing that your phone has virus.

So far, I do not have this problem on my current Lumia (Microsoft - Nokia) phone as it has been upgraded to Windows 10 (yesterday) from 8.1. When I started getting pages which I had not selected; one - I deleted all my previous web data; loaded a Opera Mini browser and set my security settings on high. This seems to have worked. On my laptop, switched over, again from Google Chrome to Opera Live (?) - I started getting the opening page from Plus - otherwise - no problems. Have asked pop ups to be blocked; and select them as required for known and used sites. On my laptop, I have AVG security; which keeps removing threats - this is about 2.3 k for 2 years. Here again; keep removing old data - delete records; whenever I start getting pages which I have not asked for. It uses Windows Vista, with all security updates till it was stopped. Hope this information is of use to you. I believe Android phones are more susceptible to viruses and you may have to use a security software, at cost. I do not carry out any monetary transactions from my mobile; but through the lap-top.
