Headphone Comparable To Sennheizer

How do Sol Republic headphones compare to Sennheiser headphones?

I will try to be as un-biased as possible as I think Sennheiser is one of the best headphone manufacturers. Sol Republic is a consumer market company (B2C), they produce audio equipment (mainly headphones) targeted at the shoppers of retail stores and online retail sites. As a rule of thumb, consumer grade headphones slightly change or alter the sound in order to make it more pleasant (to some) to listen to. Sennheiser deals more with industrial audio solutions, they produce a range of audio equipment targeted at professional applications (B2B), as well as some consumer goods. As a rule of thumb, professional grade headphones give a more accurate representation of the audio. While more accurate should sound better on paper, artists and audio producers sometimes edit their piece to sound correct on consumer grade headphones, thus listening to it on studio monitors will make it sound not as the artist intended. Of course, Sennheiser also sells consumer headphones. In conclusion, comparing Sol Republic with Sennheiser is like comparing apples to Walmart. Walmart sells apples, yes, but they also sell everything else.

How long have Sennheiser headphones last for you?

Sennheiser is a good company. I suggest you buy the (Sennheiser HD 201)
I think is their less-pricey yet most durable and perfect sound headphones.

Most cases of broken headphone or earphone - is that their cable is broken
and cables have a weak spot near the jack-plug.
Sennheiser is one of the good brands with no gimmicks. This brand is somehow government regulated "You're getting what you're paying for"

Celebrity brands like Dr. Dre can overprice their products - these headphones are garbage. The only reason why they are popular is because they are widely handed out. Bose and Skull Candy are also garbage.

Headphones, MDR XB-500 vs Sennheiser HD-202?

get the mdr xb-500. they have brilliant bass, and the mids arent that bad. if you can try and get the xb-700, they have better mids and highs.

the hd 202 have stuff all bass- ive heard both of these headphones, and you're better off with bass for the music you listen too.

Should get Behringer HPM1000 or Sennheiser HD201 headphones?

Behringers are $10 and Sennheisers are $20. I usually use them for long hour time periods. I want best noise cancellation, comfort, and good sound. I know Sennheisers are a well known brand, but only compare the headphones. And only these headphones. Don't suggest any other ones please. :)

Audio Technica or Sennheiser headphones?

I need a new pair of headphones for my sound production course and i don't know which ones to get. I like the idea of the Audio Technica ATH-M50 and was gonna buy them but a lot of my mates have got Sennheisers and say they are the best for mixing and producing. Thought I'd just check to see if anybody can point out a better pair of headphones for round about the same price. And i'm not made of money so nobody mention Beats haha.

Which is better Sony headphones or Sennheiser earphones?

It's really unfair to judge both these brands just on the basis of their names. Both are the leading conglomerates in the audio industry, in terms of audio gears. On an individual analysis, in the lower budget range of headphones (MDR series), I have found Sony focusing especially on the extra bass and the highs. As the range progresses, the HIGH-RES headphones stand out in terms of the overall quality. The audiophile range headphones go absolutely inch perfect with their Walkman series where you can squeeze out all the potential from the drivers. The noise cancellation series is for those who are looking to dwell less into the technicalities while buying a gear and just enjoy music with up to date features, credits to their LDAC in the wireless headphone range.Sennheiser is a household name, nothing can beat their quality assurance and the likeability that goes with it. It's highly unlikely that someone would criticise this brand on any parameter. The efforts that go into designing every product of theirs is clearly visible in the form of sensations in your ears.Comparison:1. Compatibility: Both the brands have taken into consideration the compatibility of their headphones with smartphones as well as DAC/DAP. But Sennheiser has a wider range when it comes to the audiophile grade choices.2. Frequency Range Output: This depends on the choice of the user and the genre preferred. Extra Bass and V-shape: Sony Balanced Spectrum: Sennheiser.3. High Res: Sennheiser for their flagship products.4. Easy Acess: Sony.Higher range products of Sennheiser compulsorily need source to drive them efficiently and to maximize their output.5.Customer Service: Both are the winners here.

Which headphone has best sound quality Sennheiser CX 180 or CX 213?

People who havent used themselves probably can talk about specs and granular details. I have both the earphones with me right now and there is a clear difference between CX 180 and CX 213.If you want to really feel the difference, compare CX 213 (Blue or white) with CX 180. CX 213 comes in 3 colors, and Blue and white one are omparetively costlier to Black one coz Blue and white have Deep Bass feature and black one dosent.I would recommed to always go with the CX 213 Blue. Crystal clear sound with every detail and perfect blend of punchy Bass. CX 180 no doubt is best in its range but lacks the Rich punchy bass which CX 213 Blue and white have. CX 180 can be quite irritating in terms of Treble sharpness and loudness sometimes depending on what you play. But CX 213 (Blue and white) is a GEM of a produt from Sennheisser. Close your eyes and go for it.

How do Sennheiser Momentum headphones fare against similar headphones from other companies like Bose, Beats, etc.?

In terms of purely sound quality I'd go withSennheiser momentum > Bose > Beats (Personally, I wouldn't even put beats on this list)For noise cancellation, nothing beats Bose. It's not happenstance that you see so many people at airports with a Bose headset. In the end, it completely depends on your usage scenario. If you are someone who'll list mostly at home, its the Sennheiser Momentum all the way, and if you do a fair bit of travel and need your own private listening space with pretty good quality music, Bose is the way to go.Happy Listening !
