Hearing Loudly Went Up

Ear Ringing when I woke up?

I hope this has went away for you because same thing happened to me I woke up this morning and my right ear was ringing a little and it felt like a cotton ball was jammed in there i notice when i talk or someones talking to me is when the ringing really picks up loudly, just seems like any noise causes it to ring and distort my hearing, very annoying im pretty sure i sleped on that ear though but that shouldnt have caused it so who know's, and i dont listen to music loud and havent been to any loud concerts so i really dont know, lets us both hope it goes away!

Why do I hear a loud knocking in my sleep right before I wake up?

Sometimes when I am sound asleep I will be dreaming and suddenly I can hear a very loud knocking or pounding ..look if someone is at my door. I will wake up quickly and go check ,only to find that no one is there. What might cause this?

Does listening to music too loudly actually cause hearing loss?

First I had an ear infection, and then I went to a really crazy ska show, and I was right in the front center. On a regular basis, I listen to my music loudly on "big" headphones. Ever since I had that ear infection and went to that show, my ears have felt like they're filled with water, like they need to be popped. I pop them, but ti doesn't help. They've been like this for about a week now. What the hell is wrong with me?

Everything seems so loud and moves so fast and I can hear my thoughts very loudly.. HELP?

I just experienced this thing again a while ago. it just stopped suddenly.
i'm not sure on how it starts and everything but suddenly everything just becomes louder and fast and i can suddenly hear my thoughts really loud like it is talking to me. I am not on drugs and i am a very healthy person.
this thing has happened to me since i was young and i still remember all of it.
i am a 15 year old girl
I really wanna know if something is wrong. I haven't told my parents about this and I just want to know.
Hope you can help! Thanks

Heard my heart pounding in my ear, is that serious?

Putting all the nonsense asside its time for you to stop drinking alcho your on BP meds for crying out loud and get flora proactive EXTRA LIGHT. Google it, its a margarine it really helps to lower cholesterol.

Id also like you to see a cardiologist. He will perform a ultrasound of your heart, I've had one done its cheap, quick and perfectly safe. That will show if there is any blockage.

Please stop eating unhealthy foods. Eat whole meal breads about 4-6 slices a day max, go out and buy some vegies, tomato, cucumber, celery, lettuce, get a juicer get apples and carrot, maybe a blender and get strawberry's and blue berries... keep your sodium low, no more then about 1500 mg a day, and have a blood test for your cholesterol once a month for the next 4 months then once every two months. Until your next blood test make sure you eat well, and see a cardiologist. No take away foods, no subway (extremely high in salt) no kfc or maccas, kebabs anything.

If you like your meat buy LEAN meat only, frozen chicken, or get fish. Pre prepared foods like supermarket chicken are also loaded with salt.

Your playing with your life here, your only 30 years old. Lucky for you that you are 30, you may actually be able to reverse allot of these things if you start now. The other prospect is serious damage or even if kept like this for a longer time... death!

Come on man...

Is there a correlation between listening to loud music and ear wax production?

Wax production in the ear is the body's natural way of cleaning out microbes and debris from the outer ear canal. In-ear headphones will cause a contact stimulus, on-ear will possibly cause a stimulus, over the ear usually do not cause a stimulus, and speaker listening will almost never cause a wax production stimulus. The wax production reaction is stimulated with physical contact or movement. If your ear canal experiences extremely loud sounds, it might mistake that as physical contact and react by producing wax. However, that kind of stimulation would require EXTREMELY loud sounds which would cause immediate and permanent damage to your eardrum as well as cause excrutiating pain, unless of course your ear canal is unusually hyper sensitive to this type of stimululation which would cause a reaction with lower (but still very loud) volumes. If ones ears produce considerable wax when listening to headphones, it ould be likely that it is a reaction to the physical contact of the headphones, and possibly the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the headphones initiating the wax producing reaction. If the wax build-up is not cleaned sufficiently and allowed to overwhealm the outer ear canal by building a wax plug, it will reduce ones hearing ability which in turn would require increasing the sound volume further, multiplying the chances of infection and permament damage to the ear becoming extremely likely.Generally, loud sounds by themselves do not cause increased wax production or build-up, even though they cause permanent hearing loss/damage.

I keep hearing my parents having sex and it's really bothering me?

They're disrespecting you as their child by having sex while you're awake. Obviously they're well aware that you're awake, considering they blast the tv while they're doing it.

Sure, sex is natural and that's what adults do. But you know, if you were dating someone for 5 years and brought them home and had sex with them while your parents were wide awake, I'm sure they wouldn't like that. Or if when you're older you brought your husband home to meet your parents and you had sex with him while they're awake. See, parents expect kids to stay away from sex, but they're not setting a very good example.

Everyone who says she is snooping, whenever I do my dads laundry on the weekends, he has me put it away, and he has condoms in his drawers. Umm would you call that snooping? No. You don't know what this girl was looking for in her parents bedroom.

Seriously, ask them to keep it down or wait until you're gone or asleep. It can't be that hard to wait a few hours, jeez.
