Hearing Musical Echo Not The Device

Hearing a strange echo like noise from one ear. like "Teeeeeee........"?

It's called "Tinnitus", welcome to my world.

There is no real cure and it does get worse and more prominent if you continue to abuse your inner ears (hearing) with excessive noise, using only one ear with an ear piece ( like for phone), and having speakers in your room that do not give a balanced sound to both ears. Even using two earphones that insert directly into your ears produces excessive noise vibration to the hair follicles that receive the vibrations of sound.

Use head phones that surround the ears for preference and the volume not so loud that you can't hear your foot stomping on the ground.

Tone-deafness is not the inability to hear, but the inability (inside the brain) to distinguish between pitch levels (audio frequency), often coupled with various dysfunctions in the ability to reproduce the heard pitch.  The brain has various centers which are very specific about pitch - the late neurologist Oliver Sacks reported singers who, after some accident or illness, could no longer hear certain scale tones, right in the middle of a scale, but still received the other tones perfectly!  Music feels like a systemic thing, but it's also very specific, and it's way way way deep in your brain.  If a "hearing aid" were ever invented to correct "tone-deafness", it would have to be something that could hook up to the sub-par regions of the brain where all the pitch-related activity takes place.  And who knows what it would take to get a person who consistently sings flat to get the energy to maintain pitch!  There are probably some humorous inventions for this, but nothing really on the drawing board.

Is it possible to hear the echo of the Big Bang?

Your thinking of the microwave background radiation that resulted from the formation, expansion, and cooling of the universe. Tune any analog TV or radio to an off station, and you can see and hear "some" of the microwave background noise.

Now, if you are thinking that there was an actual sound generated at the time of the Big Bang, possibly. But it wouldn't be sound in terms of what we commonly think of or experience.

(".... But the story does not end there because scientists can say a great deal about this primordial sound and what it means:

* Was it loud? Variations in the microwave background indicates that the sound was the approximate decibel level of front-row seats at a rock concert. ....

* What's the pitch? The primordial sound was 50 octaves lower than the range of human hearing. Just as large organ pipes make deeper notes, so the universe's "pipes" are cosmic in size and make extremely low notes.

* Was it musical? As you hear in Professor Whittle's different re-creations of the primordial sound, it has a harmonic complexity with a quality somewhere between a muscial note and noise.

* What does it tell us? The primordial sound included pressure waves destined to grow into the largest structures in the universe.") [Gravity]

This appears to be a really good course in Cosmology and, at $99.95 for around 18 hours of quality detailed lectures, it's well worth the cost.

Why can't I hear music through my bluetooth?

I have the Samsung Vibrant and a 2xx plantronics bluetooth. The bluetooth works good for my phone besides the minor pairing issues but my question is why cant I hear music through my bluetooth? If I'm on the phone with someone and I select my music player I can hear my music fine but the only thing is that I'm on a call. As soon as the call ends the music comes through my speaker. My husband has the same phone but a different bluetooth and he can hear music fine through his bluetooth. Is it the phone or bluetooth? I have the settings on my phone to listen to music through my bluetooth but is my bluetooth capable?

Echo in my headphones?

For some reason, whenever I play something theres an echo to it. This isn't restricted to just my headphones, but it also happens when it's just the plain speakers playing. I've tried everything I could think of, even a system restore to 2 weeks ago. This problem has been around for about that long, but it only occurs when I'm playing something above 50 volume. Usually this isn't a problem but when I watch movies on my computer it still echoes through my headphones. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think this happens when i plug the computer into my TV using an HDMI cable. Sometimes it doesn't happen and everything works fine, but other times it echoes pretty badly. I have an acer aspire 5742z-4813 running Windows 7.

Please help!

Today it is very easy. Take a H4 or some good other device, make record. Listen to it.Or just put your flat hands in front of your ears, without covering them. So you can hear only your voices sound in the room where you are.

Yes and noBack to the day where i used to be customer service. When we receiving a call, we hear a echo on the line and pc been lagging somehow, meaning our supervisor doing some quality inspection. Yes, you may been tapOr notSometimes got interference in your area or your carrier. Ask you friend or family are they having some issue. If they also having echoing, or unclear conversation, meaning your carrier is havibg interference. You are safe, for now

Why is the echo quieter than the original sound? If the echo was produced electronically, it can be made louder than the original signal so I assume you're asking about a natural acoustic echo.An echo is quieter than the original signal due to losses. For acoustic energy to propogate it must excite the air molecules in front of the wave front. That process uses energy. An echo occurs when acoustic energy reflects off of a surface. The surface absorbs some of that energy. In both cases, some of that energy is lost as heat. There would have to be zero energy loss in order for an echo to be the same amplitude as the original signal but that condition simply doesn't exist. There is always loss in any system.
