My heart skips beat when exercising!!?
Im a 19 year old african american female and I notice sometimes when I do my cardio workouts and my heart starts beating fast I sometimes feel it skip beats. I have always felt my heart skip beats, but it never really bothered me much. I have been to different doctors and had several EKG's and Chest Xrays so my doctors could look at my heart and they always say its nothing wrong with my heart. But why do I feel it skip beats during strenuous exercise? I just started working out maybe 2 weeks ago.. if that makes any difference. And I don't drink caffeine, or any other stimulant. What could it be from? Is this normal?

Caffeine is LOADED with caffeine and caffeine does increase heart rate and metabolic functions.
32 weeks pregnant and my heart feels like it's skipping beats? Please read :)?
I am 32 weeks pregnant. When I took the gestational diabetes test at 25 weeks my heart started having these weird feelings almost like it was skipping a beat or stopping? My test came back negative for gestational diabetes. Anyway I have been to the heart dr he said my heart is healthy and he said when I wore a heart holster it only showed one PVC (premature ventricular contraction ) in a 24 hr period and that the flutters I was feeling was pregnancy related but he really did not make me feel any better. He did give me meds to try witch I will try tomorrow. When I feel my Pulse I can feel it skip and then my heart will beat hard before going back to normal. I seem to always worry about these stupid things and it's taking over my everyday life. I just wanted to know if any other pregnant mom's have been through this. My dr said it should go away when I deliver but it really freaks me out to the point where I don't want to do anything but lay down. I have never had any heart problems before so I am just a little worried all tests came back normal but I guess I just worry to much and this seems to be only getting worse the further along I get. Any info would be great thanks! BTW I have cut all caffeine and junk foods and that did not seem to help
Skipped heart beats?
hello, can someone tell me the causes of skipped heartbeats? does it mean that someone has clogged arteries/heart disease? can having alot of fresh garlic everyday make someones pressure go down alot? i have about 2 bulbs a day of fresh garlic..is this too much? does it make someone feel relaxed..it seems like i get really tired after eating it like i am in a sedative state...thanks for your answers
Why does my heart skip a beat?
It just happens occasionally. I have an ectopic site on my heart and I get those misfires as well. Nothing deadly but I did go get it checked out when I was 16 and again at 23 and 25. It makes it worse once you realize it is there. You start focusing on your heartbeat and by stressing out about it you create another series of flutters. You're 15 and you will be fine. I went through the same barrage of tests. I'm now 32 and going to get a surgery to stop it later this fall. No doctor would even treat it for me till I was older. Still go see a Dr if you want, watch those nasty prescriptions they will want to try to give you.....many require you to take them for life. (I refused and glad I did) Honestly though, stop thinking about it and don't panic. It's considered normal anymore.

I don’t think I usually feel my heart skipping beats, but an increase in heart rate would make sense since your heart has to work harder to account for the dip in blood pressure. I wouldn’t worry about it too much unless you have other, more concerning symptoms, but of course you should ask your physician if anything is really worrying you.

If you mean actual fast beating, you should direct the question to a physician. If you mean figuratively, it means one of two things.
