Hello Everyone Could You Help Me

Hello, everyone. Could you please help me to confirm one thing about English? I am talking about objective complement here.?

I got the conclusion about the usage of objective complement structure. So, according to my knowledge, I think the objective complement structure can only be used after two conditions. 1) After some verbs, such as call,name,make,think,find,leave,keep,nom... see, recognize, treat, take, consider, look up,refer to,accept,acknowledge,describe,depict,re... make, have, let and so on. 2). It can be used in the composite structure of WITH. With+objective+Objective complement. EXPCEPT these two conditions, any other place that I find in a sentence is a preposition plusing an objective or gerund. such as "I am afraid of protesting my boss in person". This is a picture of president Trump shaking hands with Obama. Am I right here???

Hello everyone, can you help me solve this problem?

- Our instructor gave us an assignment to be submitted tomorrow and I haven't got to answer it yet. I tried to answer but, well, it's way too hard. So please, anyone who has knowledge in process industry, help me do this. I know you may not be able to post the complete solution but at least try to give me a hint on how I can come up to the correct answer. Here's the question!

Pyrite containing 80% FeS2 and 20% gaunge is burned ion excess air to produce a gas with complete analysis of 7.78% SO2, 1.3% O2, 82.06% N2, 4.92% SO3, and 3.85% H2O. Analysis of the cinder shows a total sulfur content of 6.46% due to the presence of unburned FeS2 and SO3 absorbed by the Fe2O3. Air supplied is at 27 degree celsius, 745 mmHg and saturated with vapor . The burner gasses then enter a converter together with 30% excess secondary air (supplied at the same conditions as primary air) based on the complete conversion of SO2 to SO3. 75% of SO2 actually burns to SO3. The converter gases enter an absorber and absorbed in acid solution. The waste gases formed has a partial ORSAT analysis of 0.7% SO2. Calculate per kg of pyrite:

a) % excess air (S to SO2)
b) Complete analysis of the converter gas
c) Kg of an H2SO4 acid formed from a 40% acid charged.
d) Kg of a 75% H2SO4 needed to produce 10% oleum.

Hope you all help! Thanks :)))

Hello everyone...please help me with these sums...please please please!!?

If 2x-3 = a
then prove that 8x^3-18ax=a^3+27

Factorize:
(i) 2x^2-x+1/8
(ii) a^2 + 7xy + 12y^2
(iii) 2x^4 - 7x^3 + 3x^2 + 63x - 45

If a +b + c = 0....prove that a^2/bc + b^2/ca +c^3/ab = 3
------------------
If a + b = 1 .....then prove that a^3 + b^3 + 3ab = 1
--------------
If a + b = c ...... then prove that a^3 + b^3 - c^3 + 3abc = 0
----------------
What must be added to 2x^4 + 2x^3 - 2x^2 + x - 1 so that the result is exactly divisible by x^2 + 2x - 3
---------------------
If a + 2ab + 3c = 0
prove that a^3 + 8b^3 + 27c^3 = 18abc
-----------------------------
what must be added to x^3 - 3x^2 - 12x +19...so that the result is exactly divisible by x^2 + x - 6 ? (use long division method)
----------------
If a^2 + b^2 + c^2 = 13 & ab + bc + ca = 6 ....... then find the value of a^3 + b^3 + c^3 - 3abc
-------------------
a + b + c = 5 & ab + bc + ca = 10 ...... then find a^3 + b^3 + c^3 - 3abc

Please show me how you got the answer.

Is it bullying if a co-worker says hello to everyone around you, but not you? He also talks behind my back, and has turned other co- workers against me.

It’s not really. This happened to me this year at the school where I teach. It could be described as “unintentional abuse”. If they do not know they are doing this. This person probably is aware though. I would definitely document obvious incidents and when the final straw breaks the camels back, go to your supervisor and calmly explain the situation in a way that describes the environment that the person is creating is not professional and their behavior has caused more stress and misunderstandings among coworkers. Or- you can wait it out. Eventually they will do something to expose their ass-holiness. That’s what happened in my case. My close friends and coworkers knew what the two fellow teachers were doing to me and when a situation came up when students reported experiencing inappropriate and unprofessional behavior from one of these two people. Myself and another teacher had to report the complaints from the students. The principal and headmaster interviewed everyone involved, then other students came forward and they(husband and wife) “resigned” within 24 hours. If it eats at you, find a coworker that you trust has a good moral compass, don’t complain, but explain an incident or two, ask if the person does it to them too, ask them to watch to see if they notice it too. Chances are, that will be enough to get them off of your back.Remember, probably nothing personal- just their immature way of dealing with an insecurity that they have.

Can someone help me write a persuasive essay?

Well, first of all you need to have read the story a couple of times and made your decision - guilty or innocent. I don't know the story at all so can't help with that bit!

On your second reading, sit with a sheet of paper next to you and make notes as you go along - perhaps divide it in two and make a column for guilty and one for innocent. That's an easy way to 'collect your evidence' together.

I'd expect a persuasive essay to persuade the reader (your tutor) to believe your verdict (guilty or innocent) too.

So perhaps your first paragraph would be something like

"Having read the short story, "the filipino and the drunkard" by william saroyan, I have concluded that the filipino is [HERE IS WHERE YOU SAY GUILTY OR INNOCENT]. This essay will demonstrate how I arrived at that conclusion, and will attempt to persuade the reader to share my view."

Then you go through the list from your notes, setting out a paragraph on each of the reasons you found during your investigation.

Remember that there will be some notes in the other column (for example, if you choose innocent, there are probably some notes that point to a guilty 'verdict').

You could go through those and explain why you didn't believe them or consider them substantial enough to alter your idea. Remember, though, that you're wanting to proove one point of view - you just need to demonstrate that you've considered both possibilities.

This sounds like a good essay to get stuck into - assuming that the story is an interesting one!

Best of luck with it - hope you get an A grade!!!

Hello everyone, I’m currently thinking of making a short film and whenever I try and come with ideas I usually work on them for a while, but I eventually scrap them, how do I get over this stage and come up with a solid idea?

Just shoot some nonsense footage on your iphone/smart phone/friend’s smart phone and upload it or download an app and cut it together in some form of experimental story. Then google for free music, find something you like and set or reset the footage to the music. You have to baby-step your way through each step. This is how you get a feel for what timing and pacing seems to be like with your “version” of things. That will eventually become your “voice” or “style” and you need to start both further down the line in the process but also before the beginning of a “script”.
