Hello I Live In The Us And I Really Have Never Seen Goodness Shown To Me This Much In My Life As I

I need another student loan and I don't know how to get it...?

It sounds like you were offered the max amount of federal loans available to you from filling out the FAFSA. (Stafford loans and the parent PLUS loan).

Be aware that financial aid is meant to "Aid" you in paying for school and not necessarily pay for everything. Most folks work while going to school and it sounds like you may need to do this to pay your rent.

If your parents are unwilling to do a PLUS loan, your only other alternative is a Private student loan. However, private loans have a HUGE drawback. You need a credit worthy cosigner, and if your parents are unwilling to do a PLUS loan for you, it is very unlikely they will cosign for a private student loan... hopefully I'm wrong.

Private loans are the "Sub-prime" loans of the student loan industry because they have variable interest rates that are double what your federal loans will be. They have higher fees and some even have prepayment penalties and heavens forbid if you were to become disabled or die, your cosigner would still be responsible for paying back the loan. Private loans are evil.

Other than that, (job, private loan) you only other alternatives are to
1. find a cheaper school.... you can attend many schools for less than the federal max with money left over to help suppliement your rent.
or
2. attend school part time so you can work more and pay for school as you go and have money for your rent.

Prob not what you wanted to hear, but your options are very limited after federal loans are maxed out and the folks are unwilling to help out.

Sallie Mae is prob the biggest company to use for private (sometimes called Alternative) student loans.

Has anyone here ever received a PHFA home loan and how does it work?

Here is their website, I'm sure you can find your answers here

How many times can you use a va home loan?

i've been told two different stories.

one is that you can only use a VA home loan once in your life time after that you can never get another one with the VA.

then i've been told that you can only have ONE VA Home loan in your name at a time so if i get one house get it all payed off and want to buy another then then i can apply for another va home loan.

I need some verification please and thank you =]

R&S, what is the funniest thing that has happened to you?

I can tell you about the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life. A year after my husband and I married, we moved to a little farm house in the midst of corn fields and cow pastures. Our nearest neighbor was about a mile away. Shortly after we moved in, a developer came out and began clearing fields about a mile or two away from us to begin a new subdivision developement. Well, every field mouse within that entire area was sent scrambling and headed our way. How did we discover that they were in our midst? It was early one Saturday morning and my husband had just gotten out of bed. I was in the kitchen making coffe and he was only in his whitey tighty Fruit of the Looms. My husband is not a small man, by any means, so that image is funny enough in itself. As I brought him a cup of coffe into the living room, he asked me if I heard a scratching sound. I did and pointed in the direction that it was coming from. He walked over to check it out and out ran a little field mouse. My husband screamed like a little girl, jumped onto the coffee table, which then broke in half, but before the coffe table hit the ground, he had jumped again and made it onto the couch. You may have had to have been there, but that was the funniest thing I have seen in my life!

Here's another one...my mother-in-law called me the other to day to tell me about this one. She had a terrible headache in the middle of the night and went to the bathroom to get some Advil. Not wanting to wake her husband, she felt around by the light of the moon and found the pill bottle. She took two little, round, brownish looking pills and then went back to bed. Her headache never eased up at all, and she couldn't understand why. The next morning, she woke up with pretty severe stomach cramps and didn't know why, until she went into the bathroom ans saw the pill bottle. She had taken two Senekot tablets (a laxative) by mistake. But wait, it gets better. She is a church secretary and that day, the pastor decided to take his staff to lunch at a rather nice restaurant, which, of course, is when it hit her. She broke out in a sweat and went to the bathroom 8 times during their lunch hour causing everyone concern. Being too embarassed to say what happened, she just told everyone that she was fine. So, ALWAYS turn on the light when you need to take a pill!!!!

Is Zerodha's equity trading brokerage really 0%? Are there any other charges?

If you are an intraday trader(buying and selling stocks on the same day) then brokerage is capped at Rs 20 maximum irrespective of the size of the trade. If you take delivery of the stocks(buying and keeping it overnight) then there is no brokerage charge applicable. However you must know that the charges you pay in stock trading the major chunk goes in the name of Securities Transaction Tax(STT) which is charged by the central government.Roughly STT is Rs 1 per 1000.If you will buy stocks worth Rs 50000 then approx Rs 50 will go in STT,other charges are very minimal if you trade in cash segment. For futures and options you will be required to pay higher charges (brokerage+STT+Turnover charges) as trading volume is very high here.ThankyouJai Hind
