Hello Sometimes I Feel Dizzy And All Goes Black

Why when I stand up does my vision go black and I get dizzy?

When you are sitting or laying down your heart doesn't have to work as hard to pump your blood because gravity isn't pulling as hard over your body. When you get up fast your blood pressure then suddenly drops and there is less blood going to your brain for a few seconds. This screws with your vision and balance and sometimes you can feel tingly or numb for a little while.

A few years ago I had this happen to me really badly and my vision went all blurry and wild and my arms and legs went completely numb for like fifteen minutes and I had to go to the hospital cause they didn't know what was wrong. It turned out to be that I was really relaxed when I was sitting down so my resting heart rate went down to like 40 beats per minute and when I got up I had a massive drop in blood pressure.

Weird sudden dizzy feeling?

Well dizziness is just blood movement that causes that "feeling."

If however you are talking about something that is more like suddenly feeling like you are looking at the world through someone else's eyeballs and its sort of like all emotion and attachment to the world just disappeared... except a bit of fear: Then that sounds like the early part of a panic attack. Its a sort of momentary dissociation. That said, panic attacks usually last several minutes at least and involve intense fear.

I blew my nose and got extremely dizzy. Can someone tell me what I did to myself?

You might have stimulated your vagus nerve. This can happen with hard "bearing down" motions like coughing fits, vomiting, pooping, orconceivablyblowing your nose really hard. (There are plenty of other thimgs that will stimulate the vagus nerve, but they don't apply here.) The vagus nerve, when stimulated, gives a prod to the parasympathetic nervous system, which responds by doing things like suddenly dropping your heart rate & blood pressure. The result can be that you feel suddenly dizzy or faint. Or that you actually faint.Next time, maybe don't blow so hard. The source: I Blew My Nose And Got Extremely Dizzy Can Someone Tell Me What I Did To Myself?I know (first hand) how frustrating vertigo and dizziness can be but I think most of the advice we’re given about how to deal with it is crap. At best is temporarily masks the problem. The whole thing can be frustrating as hell and reduced me to tears more than once.If you haven’t seen it already Vertigo Professor has a bunch of videos on Vertigo and this speciifcally is worth a look: How to (Properly) Overcome Vertigo and Dizziness (and Why Masking the Problem is Stupid)

I feel really tired and dizzy

I woke up this morning feeling really tired and kind of weird, later I started to feel dizzy and the dizziness kept increasing throughout the day to the point that I couldn't stand and the room was spinning. I feel a little better now. This has never happened to me before. I didn't take any medication and there is nothing I can think of that would explain what happened. Can anyone explain the reason this happened to me?

Every time I eat spicy foods I get dizzy. What could be the most likely cause of this?

Capsaicin -- which provides the 'heat' in chili peppers -- is under study for its ability to reduce blood pressure. An acute drop in blood pressure is often indicated by a feeling of dizziness. Chili peppers come with blood pressure benefits

How come every time I walk upstairs I get dizzy?

There are many times after sitting too long when I stand up I will get dizzy. And then when go upstairs ,towards the top of the stairs I become very dizzy and have a hard time putting my feet on the stairs. Is there some type of problem with me?I am 16 years old almost 6 foot and weigh 180

Why am I getting faint memories of dreams and then get dizzy and nauseous?

This sounds a bit like you underwent a traumatic event and you are beginning to recover the memories that you suppressed because your mind did not want to remember. Those dreams you are seeing might be just that, dreams, but they might also be flashbacks.

You should talk to your parents before going to the doctor. Ask them if you've ever been assaulted by someone, touched, raped, hit, anything.

Do not try to frenetically search for "holes" in your memories. At best, you would get an headache, at worst, you could be so scared you would fabricate false memories, or you could trigger another episode of dizziness.

If you are positive you never had any traumatic experience, then perhaps something happened four days ago.

In any case, I would advise you not to wait for too long before going to a doctor. Do not be afraid to talk to your parents about it, they're adults so they're probably sensible enough to understand that you're obviously very distressed. Do tell them, if they think a doctor is unnecessary, that such episodes are definitely not normal.

Ask the doctor to check you for hidden bruises (if you may have been assaulted), to investigate possible causes of dizziness (perhaps try to take vitamin C/drink orange juice until you go to the doctor, to see if it changes something), and to look at your head to see if you're not having brain problems.

In any case, do not ever think that you would be pathetic for going to the doctor. You are not being a burden on anyone. You are simply distressed and there is nothing wrong with that when you do not feel good.

Of course, don't be too alarmed by what I just told you. I'm telling you what came to my mind, but you may just be in a particularly fast growing-up phase that leaves you all weird and nutriment-deprived. Perhaps it will go away all by itself!

If you ever want to talk to someone, you can send me a mail if you want. Talking to complete strangers can help you if you're not feeling well, sometimes. Don't be afraid to confide in your closest friends and family - they love you, so they'll want to help you.

Take care, I hope you'll feel better soon.

How do you feel when you see your crush?

I have had a crush on many girls, but among them, one was exceptionally special and my heart still craves for her. I saw her first time in the year 2012 and it’s been almost 6 years now.Every time I see her my mind goes on a long walk, goosebumps all around the body, brain capturing each frame permanently so I can flip through them in spare time.A single glimpse of her makes my nerves go crazy. Those silky hairs like smoothie almost had laminar air flow; we don’t get such flow of air even in F1 after spending millions on CFD. Yes, she is precious. The watery hazel eyes had magic to get everyone’s attention. The aura she has is unmatchable. Presence of her used to freeze the time, earth used to almost stop rotating. Even black holes were attracted. Stephen Hawking was confused. She had such amazing abilities. Ears used to sense the flow of blood in veins, heartbeats were faster than Usain Bolt, eyes used to make a quick shift to depth enabled mode (much better than I phone’s feature). She is the most talented girl I have seen. That’s all for now.Your friend.
