Help Can Anyone Give Me 15 Metaphors In French

Can someone give me a metaphor for mondays?

A monday (morning) is a slap in the face, greeting you to a new week.
You don't have to have morning in the sentence. :)
As for the other part... I'm not sure. I think *think* that it isn't a metaphor.
A metaphor is saying an object IS something else. Here you are saying that it is deadlier than something else. Try "The gun was deadly, it was a man on a mission." or something along those lines.

Help! I need a good metaphor by MONDAY! Help please?

A metaphor is a sentence that compares two things without using the word like or as. The metaphor needs to be about long lines in an amusement park. An example? I'll give you a simile. "The lines for the ride were excruciatingly long, like when you are waiting to go swimming on a blazing hot summer day." Voila! Simile! But not a metaphor. Help please!

Similes and Metaphors about music and freedom?

Music is the way to another world.
Freedom is like wind. Sometimes there, sometimes not.

I need help with finding 1 metaphor in To Kill a Mockingbirds chapters 15-31?

The main metaphor throughout the novel is comparing innocent people to mockingbirds.

In Chapter 15:

"...the Maycomb jail was a miniature Gothic joke one cell wide and two cells high, complete with tiny battlements and flying buttressess (p. 152)."

The French Revolution as a children's story?

1) King Louis the 14th built a big palace, which cost a lot of money. The French people didn't like this, but they didn't complain.

2) King Louis the 15th had two girlfriends. They spent lots of money, too. The French people started complaining a bit.

3) King Louis the 16th did NOT waste money, but his wife did.

4) His wife was named Marie-Antoinette.

5) She was a very nice lady, but all she did was spend, spend, spend.

6) By now, the French people were REALLY fed up, and they complained A LOT.

7) After all, the French people were very poor, and some even died of hunger.

8) So one day, a big bunch of poor hungry people marched to the palace.

9) They were so angry and frustrated, they wanted to kill the king and queen.

10) The king and queen escaped, but were caught and put into prison.

11) Meanwhile, the French people got together and decided they didn't want any more kings and queens. (In other words, the French people revolted. In other words, they had a revolution.)

12) They killed Louis the 16th and Marie-Antoinette by chopping off their heads.

13) Then the French people worked on developing a new government.

14) They developed a democratic republic.

15) To this day, France is a democracy.
