Sims 3 pets help!! How do I find minor animals?

I read an article about the Sims 3 pets expansion pack and how to find minor animals like lizards and turtles and snakes and birds but I can't find any! It said that they were just like collectibles (rocks, gems, seeds) and you could find them wandering around the town. I have the collection helper but it wont show any minor pets on the map (and btw I'm in Appaloosa Plains) and I don't know if it's a glitch or if there just aren't any lizards or snakes and other minor animals in that town. But I tried looking for gems and rocks and seeds but those don't show on the map either. The only one that shows on the map is fish. It also isn't showing any of the minor animals in the other towns. So does anyone know where to find these minor animals (preferably the rarer ones)?? Thanks a bunch :)

What are some ways I can help animals in need?

Understand the feelings and importance of animals is really good because it is the first step towards care for animals. But if only understand and unable to do anything, then it is not enough. Even it is not helpful for animals at all. In order to help animals, we need to raise our voice for welfare of animals and fight against the animal violence. Now the question is that how to raise your voice for the rights of animals? If people find any animal in your surroundings who is abused by someone, you can contact Animal welfare NGOs In Amritsar. We take responsibility for health care of all the animals. We give surety to provide a suitable environment to animals at our animal shelters. You can call us or give your visit our website. Our non-profit organization is working on the rights of animals for a few months, and we have successfully saved many lives. We are working on a team. People for animals contribute their time and money which help us to save more and more animals. We are working in the area of Punjab. We are expanding our team and work day by day. We have set a goal to reach out to all the abused animals throughout India and give them a better life which they deserve. We hope support from volunteers to save animals.

Can you help me to identify this animal?

Black grainy scat is usually older meat/protein eater scat. Are the ends blunt or tapered? that will narrow down which meat eater left it. Fox will be tapered at ends and will have hair or bones in it. Bobcats will have cat hair in it and be tapered also but segmented. Raccoon will be blunt on ends. Bats produce dry, oval, granule sized guano. Birds usually leave a white dropping surrounded by black, very liquidy. Deer and rabbits produce ball shaped scat.
BTW, skunk scat is more of a "plop" than log shaped.

I can't find Jingle in Animal Crossing: City Folk! Help?

I found Jingle outside around the town hall, and he gave me a present. Then, I went inside Buck's house when he wasn't home and I found Jingle there. I took off my glasses and he gave me another present. Then, I took off my hat but he didn't give me another one. I left the house and I couldn't find him again! He wasn't in Buck's house, and he wasn't in any of my other villagers's empty houses either! I'm really confused. I've been looking for him for 45 minutes! I keep going from empty house to empty house, but I can't find him. I put both my presents from him in my house. I changed my disguise. He's no where!!! Help?!

Can an animal get Down syndrome?

The very technical answer is no, and I’ll explain why here. But a better way to phrase your question might be, can an animal be born and survive with a trisomy — the presence of an extra chromosome at one of their pairs of chromosomes? The answer to that is yes, and I’ll also explain that.First, the technical answer: Generally speaking, Down syndrome is the presence of an extra chromosome at the 21st pair of human chromosomes, also known as “Trisomy 21” or “T21.” (This is a simplistic definition of Ds; there are some other variations but for your question this description should suffice.) Human embryos can develop trisomies at any of our 23 chromosomal pairs, but when it happens at #21, that’s Down syndrome. So, with animals, it’s all different, based on how many chromosomes they have and at which pairs a trisomy is compatible with life.Take cats, for instance. Cats have 19 pairs of chromosomes. So, it’s technically impossible for them to have Ds. You can’t have T21 if you don’t have a 21.Or, take mice. Scientists funded by the National Institutes of Health proposed that an extra 16th chromosome in a mouse would present as a close animal model of Down syndrome in humans. But the study found that mice with an extra 16th chromosome didn’t survive birth.Apes are most like humans, with 24, and very rarely they can be born with T22, which is most like Down syndrome. Meet Kanako, the chimp with 'down syndrome' who could help find a cureOkay, now, the possible better answer: Can animals survive a chromosomal trisomy, and have resulting characteristics that we associate with Down syndrome? Yes, in rare cases. You’ll find examples of this going viral on the web from time to time, like a video of someone showing a cat who has uniquely shaped eyes, shows signs of developmental delays, etc. I’m certain that as the cost of genomic research comes down, and the sophistication of it goes up, we’ll learn more and more about which trisomies occur most often in domestic animals.Hope this helps.

How do animal shelter commercials on TV find the audacity to place helping animals above helping starving children?

First of all, where did you get the idea that one has anything to do with the other? As Susan says, the two are not mutually exclusive. Second of all, who are you to have the audacity to say that animals are any less important than starving children? Children, by mere fact that they are human inherently have more rights than animals ever will in our lifetime. Animals are in desperate need of people to stand up for them because of all the people like you, who will not, and who consider themselves to be somehow the 'superior' species. How freaking arrogant. Animals have just as much right to humane treatment and food and shelter and safety as any human being does. Only it's harder for them because humans have selfishly gobbled up their resources and encroached on their land. As for domestic animals, we have chewed them up and spit them out, letting them suffer, homeless and hungry on the streets, refusing to control their population, thinking of them as objects, and property, rather than the sentient beings that they are. I am sick to death of the arrogance of the human race. God, if you believe in one, put ALL creatures, as we are, on this earth to co-exist. Not to dominate through arrogance and ego. That means ALL animals and ALL children and ALL adults deserve to be safe and warm and be treated humanely, regardless of their skin color or whether they walk on two feet or four. Just the question, is insulting.
