Can you boil eggs in the microwave?
Yes, but not in the shell. Break open and place in a cup with a little water. Cover with saran wrap and heat for about 30-45 sec. This will give you a poached egg. But as for making hard boil eggs, you can't. They will explode in the oven.
Did this coconut oil break the microwave?
My parents said there's no way the coconut oil could have broken the microwave because I didn't put any aluminum or metal pieces in the microwave, just the plain coconut oil + the type of cup we always use. I searched online and saw other people say that coconut oil has made their microwave spark before, but I didn't see anyone saying that it had actually BROKEN their microwave, or even any real explanation on why coconut oil would make a microwave start sparking/smoking in the first place.
Help! How do I tell my parents I broke the microwave!?
I was stupidly heating popcorn in a small glass bowl and the microwave all of the sudden said sensor error. I realized that the magnetron broke from too much steam. I don't know what to do its so expensive and I'm only 15. Please, tell me what to do. Any advice is highly appreciated.
My fridge and microwave stopped working? help please? :O?
I was heating something up in the microwave (in a microwave safe bowl) and all of a sudden my microwave stopped working and then when I open the fridge I noticed it stopped working. I am alone at home, my parents are on vacation and it's like 2:30 AM here. What do i do?? I don't want all the food in the fridge to go bad :( How do I make them work again? I head of brakers and that you have to restart it sometimes when this happens... but I'm not sure what that is,Where it is and what to do with it... I don't want to cause other problems in the house... Please help!

Buy her a new one, that's the only way you're going to make it up to her. If you don't have the money, then I'd sugguest do all the house chores until your mom thinks it's 'paid off.'
Have you ever accidentally started a fire?
Yes..I was ironing my clothes when my mother informed that due to some urgent work we had to go out. Yes you are guessing it right.. I did not switch off nor took out the plug.We came back around in two hours.. everything was fine. In India we have frequent power cuts in summer. So Even though I was in that room, the Philips Iron went unnoticed as there was no indiction due to absence of power supply. It was around 4 PM. Time just passed and we went to sleep around 11 PM in the bed room( Iron table was in another room). Next early morning my mother woke up at 4 AM due to smoke.The iron base had melted, its wire was burning, all the clothes which were near it had turned into ashes, the mattress which was touching the clothes had caught the fire, one side of the bed was in flames, curtain were black in flames.We had almost similar damage -Image source - Istock.comMy mother ran and broke the power circuit to prevent any further damage due to electricity. The electric wires had almost caught fire and things could have become worse.It was my carelessness which resulted in this damage. The power must have come back and I forgot that the switch was still On. It was not just a monetary loss but till today I have that image in my mind. Thinking of that morning gives me and my mother goosebumbs. We could have died due to lack of oxygen while we were asleep. Anything worse could have happened all because of my carelessness.Since then I never leave even the plug in the socket after using any electrical device.
