What are the things we need to take care of a recently born baby?

Ahh.. That's a good question. I recently had a baby myself. He is now 6 weeks old so I will answer here by my experience so far. Hope it will help.Contrary to the myth, new borns are much more easier to take care rather a toddler. All they do is eat- poop- sleep . And this cycle continues for every 2–3 hours. They neither throw any tantrums, nor wants you to run around them. Just kidding!!Of course they will end up using lot of your time. Sometimes they will cry without any reason. It's frustrating. But only thing you have to make sure that they are fed, dried and sleeping properly. Some points worth mentioning-they are not fragile as we think. Just support their head and neck. Rest they will take care of themselves.Make sure that their body temperature is all right. Neither too hot nor too cold. What I learnt from nurses in the hospital that they do not have much body fat like ours so they can not regulate their body temp like an adult.Feeding as usual will be every 2–3 hours. Don't worry about keeping track. They will tell you by giving clues and crying.Last and most important to keep track of their poop/pee. They should have at lst 6–7 wet diapers and 2–3 poop diapers a day. They are so cute and adorable. After a while motherly instincts will kick in and you will figure it out yourself.Hope , my answer helps.. Ofcourse I am writing this while doing my mommy duty. Good luck !!

Question about Marine boot camp for females?

I know this has probably been asked before, and I looked around, but I didn't find exactly what I was looking for.

I'm considering enlisting with the Marines and I could use some advice on boot camp (more than likely from females, since I'm sure males won't have insight on some of the questions, but any help is welcome).

What is it like for females at PI? How do you handle having your period, do they supply you with tampons/pads, and do they allow you to go to the head and change them when you need to? What if you have a medical condition that requires meds (mine isn't anything major, and the meds are more of a preventative action)? Also, my lips are super sensitive and I have to wear SPF chapstick all the time, otherwise if my lips dry/crack and/or sunburn then they blister up and swell really bad...would they allow me to bring chapstick with me?

Any help with these questions or anything else you can think of would be much appreciated...thankyou!

There's white stuff in my dog's pee?

Notes about my dog...
She's blind.
Got her from the animal rescue league.
She'd become blind after severe ant bites on her belly.
She's about 5 months old.
And...the white stuff looks kinda like a human's bladder infection...cloudy and such.
would cranberry juice and such work for a dog too, and is it even a bladder infection??
