Help I Feel Hungry And Sick At The Same Time Even Though I Just Ate . So Confused S

Why am I hungry all the time even though I eat regularly sized portions and healthy snacks?

Perhaps you are eating too many carbs. Like other people suggested, eating too many carbs can influence your appetite signal.I recently read this post (Hunger is psychological – and dieting only makes it worse – Michael Graziano | Aeon Essays) which really reasonated with me because I am a psychologist as well. The bottom line in the article is that hunger is rather a matter of psychology than physiology. It claims that certain tricks can put your brain back on track regarding food intake and hunger signals; do not exclude any foods, but up you fat intake and lower your carb intake. By doing this your hunger regulatory system will supposedly work more efficient and you will not extpecience hunger signals when you are not actually hungry.I definitely loved the post. Whether it is true and scientifically sound, I doubt it. However, I have been trying to lose weight for the past six months myself. First by counting calories, after that by just eating until I felt full. Even though I didn’t necessarily plan for it, my fat intake was fairly high and my carb intake was pretty low (I just love cheese!). This eating pattern resulted in the fact that I rarely feel hungry anymore. Sometimes I even have to force myself to eat.My starting weight was 187 lbs (85 kg), my current weight is, 160 lbs (73 kg).Bottom line: Start with counting your calories, add some fat, lose some carbs and your body will do the rest.

When I don't eat I get confused and feel weak?

If I don't eat something every couple of hours I start to feel weak and dizzy. It's also becomes hard to think, and I get a little confused. When it happens im not always hungry to eat. The doctor had me fast and took a blood test for low blood sugar (I didn't feel any of these symptoms at the time of the blood test) the test came out that I was fine. What is wrong with me?

I feel bloated but I'm so hungry?

I would see a doctor (gastroenterologist) because it could be a number of things. It could be a hidden food allergy, it could be celiac disease, it could be irritable bowel syndrome... I do agree with the 'drink lots of water' though. You say you eat really healthy and it can be super frustrating when you are trying to do everything right for your body. I'm sure you already know that fiber is really going to help clear you out, but you need lots of water (and exercise! even just getting a good walk in) to help it do its job. I really would highly recommend seeing a doctor though. I've been through this and it can be a frustrating process, but at least you can start eliminating things and find a doctor who is willing to work with YOU. Good luck!!

Why do I always feel hungry even after eating a large meal? How can I overcome it?

You don't feel hungry after eating a large meal. You feel unsatisfied. You have a faulty definition of hunger — one that is fostered by the diet industry ad nauseum.Real hunger is felt in the gut. Not in the head. Real satiety is felt when real hunger occurred and cannot be felt if real hunger did not occur. Satisfying real gut hunger is a primal urge and a primal pleasure. It's unforgettable — regardless of the number of decades it is prevented or avoided. What is actually avoided or prevented is gut hunger, without which satiety cannot occur.Try it just once. Get hungry til your gut says you're hungry. There won't be a doubt. From there you can follow three rules to end the overeating problem permanently:Eat when you're hungry. Don't when you're not. Eat every time you're hungry.Eat exactly what you want. Eat real food, but otherwise, you can forget every diet rule you ever learned. Real hunger can be trusted absolutely to guide your eating.Stop eating when the taste disappears.Hunger turns the tastebuds on. Without hunger, a facsimile of ‘taste’ is provided by chewing; the aromas pass up the back of the throat to be detected by the sense of smell. Even chocolate is manufactured in the US to be chewed. Hunger turns the tastebuds on and tunes them to detect the nutrients the body requires. When the requirement is satisfied, the taste disappears.I tried it once — 36 years ago. It still works 36 years later. The best part — there's absolutely no inclination to eat when I'm not hungry. No discipline, no effort whatsoever, is required. Every skinny person in the world and most kids know this. They just don't know they know it. It's automatic. The human species itself is thin. The body feature called hunger provides that naturally. It's the one secret I cannot give away. I suspect that traumatic unrequited hunger created the instinct to prevent hunger and, thus, overeating is hooked to our sense of survival. Preventing hunger is hooked to our sense of survival. The distinction is that, as adults, we can control access to food. I strongly recommend that accessibility to food be given to children at the earliest age possible. The French have done the research on hunger; they get it. And their recommendation is to eat the widest range of foods with the widest range of tastes to easily control body weight.

What does it mean when you're hungry, but you really don't feel like eating?

I get this problem myself, and I solved it, however, your issue may be different. It usually means your depressed. When depressed a person doesn’t enjoy their food. Another possibility has to do with the ‘mould’ in our stomachs, thats right! We all have mould in our tums and that has plenty of props in itself (i.e. allergy to some antibiotics etc).Certain medications can do this too for sure. For me, the acid in my stomach was too acidic and I wasn't digesting my food properly. The less you eat, the less you feel like eating bc your tummy will shrink.I personally, think you may have the acid thing going on bc what you describe is what I feel. Here’s what you do; DRINK WATER WHEN YOU’RE HUNGER (this will nurtalize the acid a bit). before eating, DRINK MINERAL WATER if possible (that does help!). Next, PROBIOTICS, drink at least 2 of those little probiotic things before eating.OH my GOD, I ALMOST FORGOT!!! You need to take cod liver oil everyday, and eat the FAT off your meat (gross, I know!) this will help if your in a cycle that can get to you, at best, it will keep you away from problems than can happen if this is allowed to get worse (not a prob if your loss of interest in food is due to depression).Your tummy may be acidic and they may be effecting your appetite. How are your teeth? an acidic body has bad teeth. poor immunity etc.cheers

Why do I feel full but hungry?

I have been known to have something similar, and I have some ideas. No guarantee that this has any relationship to your situation, but maybe this will give you some ideas.I can remember a few times where I had eaten an entire box of (cooked) pasta, and my stomach was painfully over-full, and I was still feeling “hungry”. My brain was still sending me signals that I didn’t have enough nutrients in my body. What I later discovered is that WHAT I was eating made a huge difference. If I was eating simple carbs, like pasta, or white bread, or sugar, or cake, I could eat any amount I could physically fit into my body, and I wouldn’t send the signals to my brain to say “okay, stop eating now.” I’ve got some hypotheses as to why, but that’s not really the important thing right now. What I found was that I needed to eat things that digested a whole lot slower in order to feel full. It could involve eating more fats, for instance. It could involve eating more whole grains rather than processed grains — anything to slow down the process of digestion. But the most significant thing I learned was to eat more protein.Let’s say I had a thousand McDonald’s Quarter Pounders in front of me. I could go and eat all the buns off of them until I was literally about to puke because of how much stuff was in my belly, and I’d still feel hungry.Or I could eat the meat patties from one or two of them — and stop. And I’d be full.So my question to you is — WHAT are you eating when you are hungry-but-painfully-full? Is it like me, where you’ve been eating pasta, or bread, or corn flakes, or cake? If so, try eating protein instead — tuna, or chicken, or fish, or beef, or pork, or whatever. Or at least, fat. One slice of bread and butter might do better for you than an entire loaf of bread without it.Again — no guarantees. But it might be worth a try to see if your body works like mine.

Why do I always feel nauseous in the morning, even when I am not pregnant?

Your blood sugar will be lowest in the morning. Your stomach also, obviously, will be empty. Keep some crackers or something on your nightstand and try nibbling a few before rising.

**ETA**
What are the symptoms?
The symptoms can vary depending on how low the blood sugar level drops.

Mild hypoglycemia can cause nausea, a jittery or nervous feeling, cold and clammy skin, sweating, hunger, and a rapid heartbeat.
Moderate hypoglycemia often makes you feel irritable, anxious, or confused. You may have blurred vision, feel unsteady, and have difficulty walking.
Severe hypoglycemia can lead to loss of consciousness, seizures, and coma—and it may be fatal.

I have symptoms listed as moderate more and more if I don't eat every few hours. Have some orange juice in the refrigerator to drink when you first wake up. It will be the quickest way to raise your blood sugar but eat early as well.
