Can a parent apply for a replacement social security card for their adult child?
I need to get a new social security card but I don't have a state id. I need a social security card to get a id and a id to get a social security card. Im 23. Can I get one of my parents to apply for my social security card or is that once you turn 18 only you can get it?

First I find it hard to beleive that your parents haven't already gotten you a SS card. Because without a number they couldn't deduct you as a dependent for the last 18 years. But assuming they haven't read the info below and and follow the link. Citizenship We can accept only certain documents as proof of U.S. citizenship. For example, as proof of identity Social Security must see your: U.S. driver’s license; State-issued nondriver identification card; or U.S. passport. If you do not have one of these specific documents or you cannot get a replacement for one of them within 10 days, we will ask to see other documents, including: Employee ID card; School ID card; Health insurance card (not a Medicare card); or U.S. military ID card.

It contains details of your regional CBSE office and fees for providing duplicate/triplicate certificates.Take printout of the application form and fill it out very carefully.Visit your school to getSignature (principal) and stamp (School) on the application form.A letter from school on school letter head confirming that the said person has actually lost/destroyed the original certificate with principal signature and school stamp on it.If you don’t know your Roll number don’t worry your school has your record. Ask them they will provide it to you.Publish a notification in lost and found section in any national daily in the below mentioned format (FIR/General diary report is required for this).It is notified for the information that my original passing certificate of the main senior secondary examination of the year XXXX and Roll no. XXXXXXX issued by CBSE has been actually lost/destroyed. How to obtain social security card replacement without I.D. ? Washington State?
Moved from Alabama to WA. Had WA i.d. but lost it. Legal citizen born in USA, 23yrs old, no photo i.d. , no medical or school records, no insurance cards, etc. So my question is, how do I get a replacement SSC? I can't seem to aquire legal documentation without an I.D. but I can't get an I.D. without first getting my SSC, In order to go to the DMV && get an I.D. it's all confusing really. I have my legal birth certificate, but that's about it. Any solutions?
