Math Lines need some quick help for a major headache!!?
1)2x - 3y =12 and Kx + 6y =48 Put the equations into slope-intercept form (y = mx + b) 3y = 2x - 12 or y = (2/3)x - 4 the slope of this line is 2/3 6y = -kx + 48 or y = (-k/6)x + 8 the slope of this line is -k/6 If the lines are parallel the slopes are equal. -k/6 = 2/3 k = -4 2) (A+B)x + (A-B)y = 4 (A+B)/4 * x + (A-B)/4 * y = 1 so (A+B)/4 = 1 and (A-B)/4 = 1 A+B = 4 A-B = 4 A=4, B=0
Why do I get so many headaches?
I am writing this based on 30 years of my own experience of reducing migraine headaches sans medicines. So, this is a proven method, which can be used by all migraine-affected people, with zero side effects. It reduces the frequency of migraine attacks substantially, for sure. Here is my simple but very very effective remedy to prevent/reduce migraine headaches:always cover your eyes with a good-quality pair of sunglasses & also cover your head with a comfortable cap/hat, whenever you go out in the sun/in any kind of glare. Wear the sun-glasses & the cap/hat all the time when you are outdoors, or when you feel that the glare is too much to bear;Eat something at your daily-intake times, without exceptions. What you eat & how much you eat is secondary. What is vital is to feed your stomach at regular intervals, or at/around the time you normally consume food everyday. This eradicates the ill-effects of bile & prevents headaches;Do not keep awake late at night. Ideally, a 11 pm to 6 am sleep is desirable. Also, try to stick to your daily routine, to the extent feasible & avoid erratic daily routines as far as you can;Keep stress as low/less as feasible. Try your best & then, accept the results coolly. Worrying over what is beyond your control is a invitation to migraine headaches;Have more fruits, salads, nuts & other natural foods. Avoid processed/non-veg./fried foods, or consume as less of it as may be possible; For peace of mind, do meditation (focus on breathing) daily, morning & night. Vipassana meditation is very good;Keep this attitude as regards the results, after putting in your best efforts: 0% expectations & 100% acceptance. This will reduce stress & thus, reduce the frequency & intensity of headaches. Do your best & then, accept the outcome with grace & equanimity. This attitude will reduce headaches.

I hate algebra so much and this gives me a major headache please help?
You have n teams and you must choose 2. How many ways can you do this? n! / [(n-2)! 2!] = 15 (n * n - 1)* (n - 2)! / (n - 2)! 2! = 15 (n-2 )!'s cancel. n*(n - 1)/2 = 15 Multiply both sides by 2 n*(n - 1) = 30 Remove the brackets. n^2 - n = 30 Transfer the 30 to the left. n^2 - n - 30 = 0 Factor (n - 6)(n + 5) = 0 n cannot be - 5 n= 6 so there are 6 teams. AB AC AD AE AF BC BD BE BF CD CE CF DE DF EF 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 15 Everything checks.
Why do I get headache after crying?
Two reasons really. Physical (muscular) tension and emotional tension. Think about all the muscles you use when you cry. From the neck to the face to the head, especially forehead, your muscles are involuntarily contracting- tensing up in all kinds of ways. You can’t help it. That’s just what happens when we cry. These muscles are being used in ways they are not normally used. That makes them achey and sore. You usually won’t notice it until you’ve stopped crying, when the have a chance to relax again, but do so gradually, giving you a lingering headache. Then there’s the emotions that go along with crying. You wouldn’t be crying if you were not really upset about something or someone. Someone you care about hurt you. Someone you trusted betrayed you. A bad situation came up, maybe suddenly, unexpectedly. And a million other circumstances that can happen and drive you to tears. All these negative emotions make you feel bad. Your body produces adrenalin, cortisol and other substances that rile you up. And they can bring on headaches and other discomforts that maybe you hadn’t even noticed. Sometimes the best thing you can do is let out. Just let it go. Find a private place to go to where you can cry and weep and sob. There’s no shame in this. We all go through this type of thing every now and then. We wouldn’t be human if we didn’t. Crying helps release negativity. Most people feel better after a good cry. This goes for men as well as women. And afterward, try to lay down in a dark, quiet room with a damp cold or warm (depends on which makes you feel better) washcloth over your eyes and forehead. Take some Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen if you are not allergic and don’t have a problem that prohibits you from taking these meds. Call a close, trusted friend and talk about what’s bothering you. If you believe in a superior being (Buddha, God, Jesus, Allah, Goddess- whatever you choose to call the being,) Pray. Hope this helps.
Can Valium relieve headaches?
Valium is a light-weight, short acting, drug from the benzodiazepine family. Not usually is it used for headache treatments. However, if you are having stress-related headaches then it could be very helpful. Of course, read the side effects….if you are having daily headaches, and you fall into the category of severe stress related headache patients, make sure you know the side effects of going on a daily dose of Valium. It’s a wonderful drug, and for anxiety related issues or in some cases insomnia, rest-less leg syndrome, and headaches do to stress, even events of trauma, PTSD, other mental health issues etc…The only reason I bring up the side-effects of how much and how long you take it, the effects of stopping the medication after long-term use can be a nightmare including at best tremors and at worst seizures, endless seizures, in fact. Valium is listed as being easier to stop than some other benzodiazepines, but still beware. Make sure you have a good doctor. I can almost assure they will try you one every SSRI drug, triptan, and anything else that is not a controlled-class drug, no matter how helpful it is. Their are pain management drs across the nation who fail to do their jobs every day because of ridiculous restrictions placed upon them by government agencies, who don’t understand how they should do their jobs. Leading to much suffering and needless decline in quality of life. So, keep all this in mind. If Valium helps your headaches, then it should be no problem to explain how to use it, and the consequences for stopping it immediately. I know for a fact how pain and how headaches caused from severe injury can destroy your life. I also know what it’s like to have a cure, and being stripped of it. Valium will not shorten your life or threaten any part of you if taken wisely in the manner it’s directed. So, yes, it certainly can help a headache. Secondly, most doctors especially most of those in their 30s will consider this the ““old way” of thinking no matter how helpful it is to you. I hope you can find relief!
