Need help finding a gaming laptop less than $600?
I need a good gaming laptop that will have the drive to play discs to play games. I like Sims a lot but Sims takes lot of memory so 4GB wouldn't work but I don't know a lot about computers &don't know exactly what would need. I wanted 2b able 2do Internet and things but I'm more concerned that it could play games bc I have a PC but this is for road trips &things that I go on a lot when I'm away from the PC & I don't know the right kind of computer I would need bc I don't know all of the ram &the dimensions &the pixels &I don't know any of that so I would need some help with like links to where I can get a good laptop for less than $600 preferably Walmart so I can go look at it but it has to be less than 600 which is probably gonna be hard . If anybody has any suggestions and no don't be rude with why are you wasting your time asking a stupid question. I know some girl asked a question about if she should wear makeup because she's just going out to do a little shopping and everybody said no you should just be natural and then somebody had to comment saying why r u wasting ur time asking a stupid question so I'm just somebody that doesn't know much about computers but wants a gaming computer &doesn't know what to buy but I would like it to be less than $600 but I don't know what to get I saw lots of good computers that were less than 600 but they were 4GB. when I saw stuff tht was 6 or 8GB I wasnt sure if they were the right ones bc I don't know what all I need. Which is the best laptop under $600 for students?
I would suggest Asus vivobook 15 X510UN-EJ327T. it is a thin and light 15.6 inch laptop with i5 8250U. It has 1tb hdd, 8gb ram expandable upto 16gb and Nvidia mx150 gpu. So it's quite capable.I don't prefer amd powered laptops as they generally have poor driver support (I personally used a hp laptop powered by and A10 apu). But still if you want one then go with Acer nitro 5 AN515–42. It has ryzen 5 quadcore cpu 2500U, 8gb ram which is expandable upto 32gb, 1tb hdd and 4gb Radeon RX560X gpu.If you want a laptop that looks cool and can compromise a gpu then go with vivobook s14 430UA-EB153T. Weighing only 1.4kg it's light and with its ergolift hinge it looks sexy as hell. It has i5 8250U, 8gb ram, 256gb ssd, 1tb hdd. Keep in mind that this laptop doesn't have a ethernet port so you have to use a dongle and another limitation as I mentioned earlier is it doesn't have a dedicated gpu so you have to work with the inbuilt Intel hd620.

If you can, go for a desktop. It's much cheaper than gaming laptop price to performance. $600 can get you a decent desktop or a standard office laptop, if you want gaming, go for desktop.Buy a used monitor and dull case will help with the budget, fancy cases are cool but also ridiculously expensive. Don't buy mechanical keyboard or Razer mouse or any fancy peripherals, buy a keyboard mouse combo instead, those can be upgraded easily later. Universities have major discount in windows, mine gave me 3 free copies.Pick parts. Build your PC. Compare and share.They have plenty of guides for you to build your own, don't buy pre-built PC, you're paying for their labor too.I recommend an i5, doesn't need to be 7th generation, I have 4th generation and runs Battlefield 1 max settings. CPU is not that important in new games.GPU: gtx 960, 1060 or amd r9 280, rx480 anything around $200. Do a little reading and benchmark search here.
