How to get in shape fast?

I am 14 130 pounds and about 5ft 6 in
I wanted to try out for my schools volleyball team this year on March 8th
The problem is that i am not very fit and i just found out that there will be a portion of tryouts that will consist of tests. There will be PUSHUPS and SPRINTING and some other stength and exercises.
I need help because i can even do one pushup and this performance wont get me on the team
So i need to know what i can do to be able to do many pushups by March 8th

How do I get back into shape for swim fast? I need a cut!?

So I literally learned how to swim, float, breath, go on intervals, dive, etc etc.. during my highschool season this year since my friends have been pursuaying me to join for such a long time, so I did. I finished the girls season which started on august 15 but I ended early in October because my dad saw my grades. So now i'm finally back but its the boys season now so i decided to join a club. I go back monday but theres a problem; I feel like i'm starting all over again because swimming a 50 EASY freestyle kills me.

When I started the season I went a 37.9 in 50 free and I finished the season early with a 26.4. I guess 50 Free is my event, so I guess i'm a sprinter. Terrible at distance. I had trouble keeping up in the 2nd lowest lane, even though I was literally trying and killing myself everyday while everyone else literally said "I don't try" and I have faster racing times which is a problem. So people are stronger than me without even trying, great :( My 100 time is a 1:06, 100 back is a 1:17, and 200 free is a 2:48. (stop laughing :p haha)
So anyways theres this Indiana meet comming up soon in January and for that you have to have cuts for, which i heard are pretty easy to get. Even though I once had that cut time I feel like now my 50 free is a 40 second.. Haha. Not even kidding. I'm aiming for a 50 free cut which I think is around a 28 second..?
Idk i'll double check but so can somebody give me tips on how I can get back into shape? Any sets that won't let me die but will kill me? If you know what I mean.. I need something do-able at my status. My coaches will probably give me sets that no matter how hard I try i'll have LITTLE KIDS lapping me. (those kids in my lane go to states but are like 10...but still.. Kids lapping a 15 Y.O would be embarassing lol) So when i'm not doing coach's sets I'll have things to do to help my lung capacity (which sucks right now) my arm strength and leg strength, arms and lungs especially!

How do i get in shape fast? I have P.E this year and i havent had it in 2 years?

Calm down :) determination and confidence are two AMAZING ways to be happy and improve your look. First, I must stress NOT to go on a commercial diet. They damage your body more than you can imagine. Eat very healthy. Fruits, vegetables, meat (grilled and baked, not fried), and dairy. Do not worry about a snack or two. Don't eat 3 heavy meals a day, that is very important! Graze on healthy foods a bit all throughout the day. And for exercise, don't do work outs for bulking up. Try yoga, running, swimming, and other cardio exercises. Some sit ups and crunches, and some push ups, but go slowly with both. Running, jump-rope, swimming, hula hoops, and things that get your heart racing are great for toning your body. drink water as much as you need while exercising and a lot afterward. Water is a natural cleanser and will completely restore your body if you drink the right amounts. Also, something that has gotten me in shape quickly and effectively (and is very fun) is erotic dancing. Take a class. Rent a video. Look some moves up online. And just put on some music and dance. How can one get in shape in only two weeks?

You aren't going to make substantial gains in two weeks. Your cardiovascular system is what it is, and you shouldn't expect to improve a bunch.

Still, I would advocate speding some time running at 70% of your max heart rate, at a comfortable conversation pace. If you are a short distance person, you don't need to run for miles and miles. I would do this 3 to 4 times per week, just to bolster your base fitness.

You can also consider swimming, or an elliptical trainer -- soemthing low impact. Kind of depends on you...

I would work most on flexibility. This will help on the speed, and help prevent injury while you get back into shape for the season.

Fastest Way To Get In Shape For Basketball?

Your going to find this hard, if i was to get fitter ok, or just to gain 20 pounds fine. This is because running will hinder your weight gain goals.

I would do it by hitting the free weights, like 3-4 days a week max for like a hour per session. Making sure that you are consuming the correct amount of protein and calories to add weight. eat eat eat eat (good stuff though)

As far as fitness goes doing the free weights will help, but i would do like 3 runs per week max, no more than a hour.
Start off slow jogging to warm up, then start doing 90% effort sprints for 1min slow jog 2min and repeat. When you exhausted finish off jogging the rest of the time.

Getting Back into Swimming Shape fast?

After taking a year off, I got into shape by swimming 4-5 days in a row and then taking one off to rest my shoulders and back. You don't want to blow your shoulders out by doing too much, too quickly. My advice is to start with 3-4 thousand yards with strokes, drills and kick mixed in and then if you're still feeling good to maybe use some light weights, or go on an elliptical / treadmill / bike for some additional cardio benefit. Make sure to do as much cardio / aerobic stuff as you can to help with your overall level of fitness. 4 weeks is enough time to establish a solid base if you're working out every day. Make sure to stretch, drink tons of water, eat as healthly as you can and take ibuprofin at night if you're feeling sore. Most importantly, listen to your shoulders and don't be afraid to take a day off if you're feeling really sore. You occasionally need a full 24 hours of rest to recover, especially when just getting back at it. Good luck, hope this helps!!
