Help I Think My Friend Is Severely Suicidal Help

What to do about a friend who is suicidal because teacher accused her of plagiarism?

Well, I think that she's crying that much because she's really really dedicated to her school work, so it's alright to cry some here and there when she's accused of plagirism when she really didn't do anything, but there always needs to be a limit. If she's crying months after, she might have some kind of obsessive disorder. I think the best action for you to take is tell her that you're going to the school counselor to tell him/her what's going on. Or, if she's comfortable with another teacher, a teacher she seems to like, go the that teacher. It'd be much more easier for her to talk about it then. Then make sure your friend AND you go to the counselor/teacher together, so she knows she has some kind of support if she can't say anything. Also, I really feel you need to tell the teacher what's going on -- if she's really a teacher because she loves her job, she WILL change if she was aware her actions and words were having this much of a negative effect on a student. Well, I hope that helps, and I wish you all the best. Let us know how everything goes. And remember, "Anyone can be negative, that's easy. But it takes effort to be positive." -- Mr. P, 7th grade teacher

Abandoned by my only friend for being suicidal?

I'm going through severe depression and suicide ideation, and this guy is my only friend.. without him I'm completely isolated and talk to no one..

Today I told him I was thinking of suicide, so he texted me "I don't think I'm going to talk to you anymore"

Why is he abandoning me?..
I feel like he's silently telling me to go kill myself..

How to help a depressed friend?

A couple months ago I learned that my best friend had a tumblr (one of my classmates showed it), which I had no idea about. So, I look on it and am shocked that it has these depressing posts like,"some mornings I wish I had never woken up". Or "no matter how deep I cut, the pain doesnt go away". She even writes about he suicidal fantasies and posts pictures about anorexia and cutting. I am so upset that she never told me about her depression. She doesn't know that I look at her tumblt. I am so worried about her and don't know what to do. If I tell her parents, I know that they will get mad at her (don't ask me why, her relationship with them is bad and I don't know why). I feel like a shitty best friend for not even knowing and I don't know how to help her. And if I tell a school counselor, they will probs just call her parents. How do I tell her that I know about her depression through her tumblr? How do I help? Thanks for any serious answers.

My friend is ......................chronic severe eye floaters and tinnitus?

To tell the truth, the description is too vague to offer any help.. I get that your friend is in a desperate condition, and you should notify family, friends and even authorities of any suicidal ideation.. ok.. from your description, it sounds like a nerve problem.. I am afraid you need a good neurologist to confirm that.. simple eye floaters require light in order to see them (we all have experienced an eye floater once in a while) if you close your eyes and stay in a dark room, you shouldn't be able to see them.. but when you are having tinnitus and visual disturbance, I would think of neurological problem involving the cranial curves (both optic and acoustic nerve).. your friend should see another doctor who can verify all that.. the other possibility is a psychiatric problem, but these disorders are diagnosed last.. for example, severe depression can present with hallucinations and psychosomatic disorders (the brain generates actual physical illness, like tinnitus and blindness)..

Good luck and God bless

My friend is suffering from severe depression. Need advice?

My friend (21 years old) told me that she is severely depressed. She cries almost daily and is going to see a shrink this week. I'm not sure how I can help her get through this. She is reluctant to talk about it. I'm not sure what could be causing it since she is not in financial difficulties and has friends and family that she can depend on.
Any advice on how to help her from people who had the same problem or who also went through depression would be appreciated.
Thanks.
