Help with math? (Algebra)?

Alrighty I'm not asking anyone to do my homework for me, but when my friend and I compared answers they were different for the following questions and I'd like to know what the right answers are. Even solving one would be helpful and if you'd like to explain what you did that'd be good to otherwise whatever, thanks.

Solve: h=64t-16t^2

Factor: 12m^2-5m-3

Factor and solve: 4k-4=k^2

Factor completely: 5g^3-30g-35g

Find a fraction that proves 3.1234 (with .1234 repeating) is a rational number.

Math Help? Simple algebra?

First I want to see how many inches per minute there are in 55 miles per hour:
55 miles/hour * 5280 feet/mile * 12 inches/foot * 1 hour/60 minutes = (55*5280*12)/60 = 58,080 inches/minute

One revolution:
The circumference of the tire = 26π = 26(3.1416) = 81.6816 inches per revolution

Revolutions per minute:
58,080 inches per minute / 81.6816 inches per revolution = 711.0537 revolutions per minute

The circumference of the new tire = 30π = 30(3.1416) = 94.248 inches per revolution.
The 30 inch tires would make the same number of revolutions per minute and travel:
711.0537 revolutions per minute * 94.248 inches per revolution = 67,015.389 inches per minute

Convert this back to miles per hour:
67,015.389 inches/minute * 60 minutes/hour * 1 foot/12 inches * 1 mile/5280 feet = (67,015.389*60) / (12*5280) = 63.46 mph

MATH ALGEBRA HELP! 10 POINTS!?

I will gladly help
Ok first you want to get both the variables on one side.
So it will be:
-2x+y=-1
-8x+3y=1
then you want to get the x's to be the same number but one will be negative and one will be positive so you multiply the top by -4.
8x+-4y=4
-8x+3y=1.
Then cross out the x's and add the y's and numbers so it will be -y=5. Then divide by -1 to both sides. The answer will be y=-5.
Then put the y into one of the problems( ill do the top).
It will be 8x+20=4. Then subtract 20 on both sides to get 8x=-16. Divide by 8 on both sides and you get x=-2.
So it is (-2,-5)

Now that you know the steps i will do the bottom one in a simpler way.
7x-3y=45
2x+9y=3

21x-9y=135
2x+9y=3
23x=138 then divide by 23 on each side and you get:
x=6

then 42-3y=45 subtract 42 on both sides
-3y=3 and divide by 3 on both sides
y=-1
(6,-1)

Help! math (algebra-geometry/math b) question?

(3/4)^2 x= 64/27
square the left side to get (9/16)x = 64/27
multiply both sides by 16 to get 9x = 1024/27
multiply both sides by 27 to get 243x = 1024
divide both sides by 243 to get x = 1024/243 or 4.21
