It may be a fake...all real ipods have the apple on the back and they should have given you a refurbished one, that has the apple logo on the back and it's own serial number......Hurry back and call them on it, demand they give you a real one that also has a serial number....That's weird, seems unethical too.
Best Buy warranty on laptop...?
Probably not as it would be considered 'your fault' that your car flooded (dumb I know). It all depends on what kind of coverage you signed up for (when I got my computer I got 4 year coverage, so much so that if I throw a party and someone spills beer on my computer, I get a brand new one). Call best buy and ask.
About best buy credit card and credit report.?
Best Buy does not always appear on your credit report as "best buy". It appears as HSBC/BSBUY on my experian report. Also, your report probably will not show the account until your first billing statement, as there is no account to report until the first billing cycle is complete. It then takes a few days/weeks for the credit companies to add the account to your report. The inquiry may or may not exist on your report, as not all inquiries get "put on your report" It's a good account to have on your history because HSBC Bank does other accounts like Visa/Mastercard acounts (My GM Credit card is via them too) Hope that helps
Shoplifting from Best Buy, can they prosocute after you leave?
A few weeks ago my friend shoplifted an iPod for Best Buy that was about $200 USD. No one stopped her or questioned her on the way out, but she said when she was leaving she noticed that the Best Buy security was taking down her license plates, a few hours later a police officer showed up at her house and was knocking on the door but she didn't answer cause she was too scared. Now what we are wondering is what is going to happen next? Are they going to get a warrant and come back? Will they even bother to get a warrant and pursue even though it was just an iPod? What happens if they get a warrant and dont find anything? Are they legally allowed to arrest her if they have video evidence and lisence plates? We are both really confused about this whole situation, anyone work at Best Buy that can help her out? Let us know!!

YES YES YES…!!!!I wish this answer reaches to everyone who has answered this question before and ofcourse to the one who happened to ask it.The answer is YES, YOU CAN CLAIM INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY IN INDIA TOO.This is my phone’s bill. Do notice the date of purchase, the color of handset and serial number if you can.I am not making this up and definitely the guy who answered previously stating that its his personal experience is making a fool of you. I happened to buy an iPhone 6 on April 7, 2015 billed from Las Vegas, USA through a friend of mine. I had the same doubt regarding the warranty issue but then after 8–9 months when I actually faced the problem and went to iZenica service centre in Noida, was the time I got to know that, “If you have bought an unlocked version of any apple product launched with or after iPhone 5s, then you get international warranty for your product through out the world with just showing your original bill and an ID Proof. Also, iPads had this provision before iPhones.” Thus I got my iPhone replaced within 7 working days and faced no further problem. In addition to that, you can even buy EXTENDED THE WARRANTY or APPLECARE PROTECTION PLAN(APP) that these apple support outlets have which I bought and made my warranty to last for one more year.And here is the replacement invoice and I want you to check for the three things - Date Of Purchase, Color of Handset and Serial Number again.Hope this real knowledge works in the world of POKEMON GO. :-) #NoOffence I love the game. :-PThis answer has been purposely edited for the people who took time to comment and share their doubt regarding the same issue. Ive been dying to answer something like this haha :PBuying from an eCommerce site the somewhat close to a normal store, it is a retailer, and its just online. However, if you are buying a used product, or from a seller who has less/negative reviews , I would suggest you not to buy a product from them. It can be risky, since you cannot really see what you are buying.On Amazon, buying an Amazon Fulfilled product means that your purchases is from a seller who always sells legit stuff. Always buy from those people, that will surely have a warranty.Always remember to Keep the online receipt safely which is attached with your product during delivery or any online purchase proof, as you may need to produce an evidence of purchase sometimes.I bought a phone from amazon as well in March, from a fulfilled seller.
