Italian Girl Names?
Okay so here's my take on the matter.... Adalina- "noble" (I kinda realy like this one. It goes.... And you could do Ada for short.) Alessa- "defender of mankind" (Pretty.) or Alessia- "defender" Amedea- "to love God" (I like this a middle name.) Annalisa- combination of "favor; grace" & "God is my oath" (I like this a bit also. I would maybe spell it differently.) Annetta- "favor; grace" Arabella- "answered prayer" (Maybe middle name.) Well I like Adalia and Sofia also. I think you know what you want deep down. Go for the one embedded in your heart. You've got a while yet. Besides maybe you should be looking for boy's names.... :)

Italian girl names that DON'T end with an "A"?
Here's my baby naming dilemma: ALL of my girl names are Italian and end with an "A". I'm looking an an Italian middle name that does not end like in "A". I don't want her name to seem rhyming (ex. Lia Sophia, Carmela Noella, ) or have it not flow right (ex. Isabella Maria, Audrianna Victoria) that's just too many "A"s for my liking. Any suggestions? my girl names, if it helps (but I'm looking for somemiddles that could go with any of the names on my list) : Amelia Sabrina Arabella Gianna Clarissa Gabriella Daniella Aria Cecilia/Celia

What are some of your favorite Italian girl’s names?
My father had two older sisters—the elder was born on board a ship coming from Italy to America, and her name was Maria; the other children, including the younger, were born in Pittsburgh, and the younger was named Michelina. So those are two of my favorites.Another one is Annamaria, because, as a kid, one of my favorite actresses was Annamaria Alberghetti.
